Once again Amanda show's that she is a great villain I like how she played Owen (Sam) by giving him the box and then just getting it back a few eps later. This Episode was Great! also how awesome was it that Nikita used a towel as a weapon? lol cant wait till next week.
Nikita is entertaining and great story telling. It's action packed, filled with beautiful and/or memorable characters and it kicks ass. The show reinvents itself every season and this has been a sweet ride. I loved seeing Cyrus again. The continuity is great. It cracks me up that Amanda knows every bad ass in both hemispheres. I'm actually digging Sam/Owen too. Season 4!
Another great episode. Loved seeing Cyrus again. Glad the black box is gone (it was time to wrap up that story) and the President's threat has been removed. Now the only question is, what are Amanda and The Shop planning? Somehow, I doubt it's anything good.
Amanda will in my opinion frame Nikita for killing the President and possibly The Shop will place their own stooge in place. Or perhaps blackmailing the President somehow. I would imagine the former as it opens up the story far more than a blackmailing storyline.
I've been saying this for weeks. It's the death that makes most sense and the fallout will be huge. Team Nikita on the run with Alex funding them.
My only reservation is whether there's enough room for Both Nerd & Sonya in an environment like a safe house. It's a pretty confined working space. Do we need both of them? It would be a hard sell, even with Shadownet destroyed. Nerd is my favourite character so if it came down to a straight choice I'd have to go with Sonya being killed. Plus there must be a photo of Birkhoff in the Princess Leia gold bikini. :D
Yeah, I'm on board with the theory that the President is assasinated and Amanda framed Nikita for it. Craig sure picked his words carefully when he said it's a big death, but not that a main character dies. Anyway, I hope Sonya makes it. We've had enough deaths. If she must leave, I hope it's in a non-fatal way.
Perhaps we'll see Birkhoff onsite and Sonya back at base. This would make sense as they'd need him to do things on the fly. As he said Shadownet isn't gone, he's the physical embodiment of it. So it would make sense and be the ony real way to keep Sonya relevant. This would also explain why the writers had him front and centre when it came to the fighting aspect of Broken Home and how much more at ease he was killing his captive. They wanted to show his capabilities beyond computers. He's basically ready for the field.
That was actually the first thing that came to my mind when people wondered if Sonya will be needed in S3 because Birkhoff already fills her role. Some missions could require him to be doing his thing in the field, like in "Shadow Walker". Without Shadownet, it's possible he can only do some of his hacks in close proximity to the systems.
why would you want Sonya dead? dont you want Birkoff to be happy?? I think its great that she's there for him. and its alright to have more than one character being the hacker/nerd guy. anyway i thought it was a great ep as always. every week we get a mini-movie out of this show. it's just amazing. needs to be renewed! Amanda killing the president off and framing Nikita would be a great way to send the season and lead into season 4. S1 we got Nikita being hunted down by an organization called division, and S4 she's being hunted down by the whole government. and yeah i would like to see that photo too! :D
I don't want Sonya to die, I liike her. In fact it would be to simple just to kill her off and I'm not sure what the point would be anyway. I have an aversion to characters dying purely for shock value. I was merely stating if it came down to a choice between the two, I'd choose Birkhoff. But I think Ryan & Sonya will coordinate from the safe house. I don't think Birkhoff will rebuild shadownet. He built shadownet in division with unlimited resources and over 10 years, he doesn't have that time or resources now. He will become a field agent next year, Birkhoff is shadownet. He'll have to be onsite to work his magic, but more than that I believe they'll need him to be out in the field, because I think Michael & Nikita will have to work in stealth after the outcome of the season finale. It also wouldn't surprise me if we get an ugly betty makeover for him either. It would make sense that he'd have to attend functions due to NIkita & MIchael not being able to show their faces anywhere. So long hair and a beard aren't going to cut it(Excuse the pun). I also believe he and Alex will be working closely together next year, as they have a lot of trust in each other and work well together as shown in Inevitabllity. Nerd has grown up. He's ready.
I don't know how this show does it, but it is always amazing. Such a spectacular episode. I died when the seals got in. Still miss Sean though, I wish he could have been there with them, especially now that they are going to be just them without division to back them up! Looking forward for the finale
Shallow moment here but, I'd be SO on board with Birkhoff getting a makeover: cutting his hair, shaving and dressing sharply. Aaron can be really hot if they don't make him look like a stereotypical nerd - see here for example: http://static.tvfanatic.com/images/gallery/aaron-stanford-photo.jpg
Well I'm not into guys so i'll take your word for it that Aaron is hot. The scruffy nerd thing is a bit of a stereotype, as I myself work in IT and have short hair and I'm always neatly dressed as are all of my colleagues and we're basically all Nerds! I think I think Aaron could look like he does in that picture and keep his everyman appeal intact.
I have a feeling the they've always felt Birkhoff would develop beyond the scruffy nerd into something more akin to the picture you've posted
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I hope we can see more of Cyprus
