Im not sure what the ratings have been.. i dont really follow that stuff, but given that there has been no announcement as to the renewal of this show.. im guessing they are not indicative of its quality.
I understand that networks need to make money.. but I wish they were able to run shows based on their merits (acting, writing, production) rather than number of viewers... surely they could pick a show or two to shove down the publics throat?
The world of Entertainment is the world of Business. If they are bleeding money by not having viewers, they'll gut the show like how Abigail gutted Nicholas Boyle. Lol.
Super Awesome, everything about this show is admirable. Hannibal calling Will his friend and becoming like a protective father to Abigel, and Alana is protective of all of them, Jack is having hard time proving his points. Very interesting.
One more thing, if Hannibal is acting out like her father there is a very certain possibility that he would do the same to Abigal if things get messy, slaughter her with out hesitation.
Loved this episode!! I like that Will and Hannibal now share a secret. Their little talk in front of the window, where Hannibal puts his hand on Will´s shoulder and says "it is the right thing to do" was just sublime. Fantastic acting from both Mikkelsen and Dancy. Hannibal and Abigails last scene was also spectacular. Love their relationship.
This episode...., I don't think I've said "Oh my God!" at a tv show as much as I've said during this episode. Just fantastic, I don't even have words to describe how much I loved it.
I keep on expecting this show to drop the ball but every week is as incredible as the last. I just love the relationships between everyone whether it is Will with Alana or Hannibal, Hannibal with Abigail, Jack with everyone. They all work so well together. I really hope this show gets picked up when NBC do the wrong thing and cancel it.
The thing is though... the ratings are still manageable when you compare it with other shows on nbc. Combine that with the fact that it costs NBC half as much as it should because of its international deal and there are reasons for hope. If not maybe a cable channel will pick it up? Damn I love this show.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
