Loved the psych eval, it is so good to see Kiera's emotional side. I'd have loved if they ended the ep with seeing the present future (if you know what I mean), to see how Sam and Greg are coping without Kiera, I think that would add an interesting element to the show. However I really hated that they made Betty the mole, urgh traitorous biatch. Also Gardner needs to be killed off-or put in place, cos he is just sooo frustrating.
It was a great episode, but with this Betty being the mole for Liber8, it kind sucks i was hoping that it will be someone who we don't know and don't like and know so much. But hey sometimes you have to have that kind of twist.
Well, we don't know the whole story behind it; we better seat tight and enjoy the ride till we find out, shall we? But in a more serious tone, she being the mole is beyond fishy.. hopefully it is not that simple
As usually I loved the episode, definitely did NOT expect Betty being the mole. I really like her but I'm not upset because it was a great twist.
I've been betting on Kiera being mindwiped since season 1 and this episode only made me believe it even more. If a simple psych eval can so easily erase an upsetting/stressfull memory remotely imagine what Alec Sadler could do from his computers. I think that's why she mostly hangs on to her son, because those are her good memories. I just find it funny she doesn't think about her husband at all. Maybe they're setting Kiera up to start "settling down" in the present/past just like Elena did,
Agent gardener has really got irritating....i mean his obsession with kira has really reached it's impasse,he should be killed off but in a heroic way..
What surprised me was that this specific incident triggered the psych. What about the time in season 1 where Kiera's HUD got hacked and he practically went on a killing rampage? What about all other times when she got emotional and potentially dangerous? I'm surprised the safeguards didn't kick in much sooner.
Also this makes me wonder what others of similar "procedures" may be embedded in other CMR's such as Travis'. We've seen him auto-revive himself in season 2 opener. There are potentially many hidden functions that are revealed only when the opportunity presents itself.
I hope your right and there's more to it like maybe her infiltrating liber8 for the dept., that would make me like her character a lot more than I do already ( I kinda have a thing for the pretty IT girls, Betty, Felicity Smoak :D) I hope we find out pretty quick and they don't drag it out too long.
pretty good ep. liked that we got to see Kiera show some emotional range. The Betty reveal as the mole was a bit disappointing, but I'm holding onto the idea that she is a deep cover double agent under Dillan's order. the onboard psych program us a cool idea, except that it seems that there have been plenty of instances in the past that it should've been activated - but it was cool to see Lt Gaeda back onscreen again. Still trying to decide where they are going with the Alec/Kellog partnership, but like that Kellog is more of a wild card than he was last season.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I enjoyed this episode right up to where they revealed Betty as a Liber8 mole. I really liked her character but that kinda ruin's her for me.

ReplyDeleteI still wonder if Betty will end up playing both sides?
