Psych and Arrow! and the finale of Mr and Mrs Murder (Aussie show)
I haven't seen Nashville past episode 10- there were always shows during the week that had greater priority over this one- but who thinks that I should continue? (by the way, if you're wondering which shows I watched instead of Nashville, they were Castle, Continuum, Once Upon a Time, Revolution, Defiance, Orphan Black, Parenthood, Beauty And The Beast, Go On, Elementary, Person Of Interest, Hart Of Dixie, Touch, Smash, Seed, Mr and Mrs Murder, Packed To The Rafters, Psych, and Arrow)
It's my last live view of Supernatural and I am excited about that. Time for me to let this one go although I feel nostalgic tonight over all the time I have spent on SPN. Here's hoping it goes out on a positive note for me.
Very excited to see what happens with Oliver and Malcolm on Arrow though. I don't want Tommy to become a major nemesis right away but I do like the idea of him having a bigger part if he does.
arrow and supernatural. gotta love that back to back strength that reminds me of the days that smallville came before supernatural. Its the reason supernatural is so popular now. when they seperated the shows, ratings dropped and people were pissed. the CW head honchos should know better now, dont try to fix something that isnt broke!
Oh you have to catch up on #Arrow. Its season finale is the best I've seen so far this year. Lots of action and heroism in the face of danger. You might say it even has heroes who get to be heroic. It's quite the switch, I am not a fan of Laurel either since she's mostly a hypocrite to me, but I adore Felicity and Diggle. Their screen time is always a favorite of mine. Can't wait until you get caught up so we can talk about it.
As for Supernatural, I did resent all the time, energy, and money I spent on the show about halfway through the season when I was trapped into watching something I was just not at all happy with and it became a bigger chore each week. However, now that the season is finally over I have gotten some perspective back. I will be writing my Dear John letter as a farewell to Supernatural next week and posting it on my blog since people are tired of my SPN crankiness here. I expect writing it will be cathartic and I can put the bad feelings behind me (until the required rewatch), focus on the good SPN brought to my life, and of course look forward to finding a new show to obsess over. New seasons of Burn Notice, Graceland, and surprisingly Teen Wolf will help speed my recovery. ;-)
I am NOT loving Supernatural this season but I don't think you can say that Arrow is the reason Supernatural is so popular. It has been on for 8 seasons because of the passion of its fanbase. Not to mention, Supernatural has been doing the same or better than Arrow in ratings as of late. SPN's success is based on itself more than anything else. Simply moving it off Fridays was enough reason for a ratings rise. Add in a new show runner that most people were initially thrilled by and the wave of new viewers through Netflix and TNT reruns and you've got a success story via Mark Pedowitz.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
always psych
