  3. The last option shouldn't be there. It's obvious Bruno is beyond messing now. This is it.

No to Stiles, I'm still convinced he was ruled out in the episode Red Barn. No to Haffner, he seems more of the soldier type rather than a leader. No to Kirkland, just seems a little too obvious since he asked RJ's associate "do you know me." I'd need to rewatch a few episodes to better know McAllister and Smith. Partridge... I don't know, seems a little obvious, everyone is guessing him but honestly I'd pick him right now.

The inclusion of Stiles makes me wonder if this is Jane's way of out-maneuvering Red John.

  5. Hope neither of them.

  6. I think it could be Kirkland... It´s obvious for us, but not for Jane, he didn ´t see him talk to Lenin neither did he see him kill Lenin!
But it could also be Partridge though his creepiness makes it obvious too... Don ´t know,Heller is messing with our minds as much as RJ is messing with Janes!

  7. Kirkland can't be because Red John Knew those seven names when Lorelei was alive, and Kirkland was trying to know how much does Jane know about Red John in ep19.

Sheriff McAllister and Reede Smith only appeared a few times.

Ray Haffner let Lisbon know he was part of Visualize when Jane realized that RJ was part of it. It would be pretty dumb if he was RJ.

Bret Styles helped Jane on his effort to get to Lorelei and other time along the story.

So we get to the point. Gale Bertram and Brett Patridge. Bertram has contacts and that would explain what was Timothy Carter doing in the mall back in season three. He can just play dumb in front of Jane. And Brett Patridge look so obvius, plus I don't think he could have many contacts due to his position.

Finally if RJ has made the same list of seven suspects than Jane he must be someone who has access to the case files (otherwise he wouldn't know suspects like Sheriff McAllister) so I would say Rj is Gale Bertram.

    Sorry about my bad english.

  8. I went for Sheriff Thomas McAllister. I don't have any reasoning for it. Just a hunch.

  9. i voted for Ray, but just a feeling...

  10. Bruno said he was being honest and that the 7 names included Red John. I'm inclined to believe he isn't lying about telling the truth. The show has gone on so long it's time for the reveal of names. If Red John is not one of the seven it will drive me up a wall. We've been going in circles too long. It's time Jane gets to make progress on finding out who Red John is.

I have no real idea who it is out of the 7, it will likely be surprising, but so far I'd guess Brett Partridge. If not, maybe he's one of his friends. His voice sort of sounds like Red John, he seems to admire him, he doesn't like psychics or Jane, and there is just something about him.

  11. voted to Brett Partridge but if it WAS him It'd be a anti-climatic for me 'coz I have this idea in my head about him since s1

Bruno Heller said in a recent interview that you can find here on this site, that he is NOT messing with us. red john is indeed someone from that list.. I go with brett,.. xp

  13. ive often thought it was the forensic guy, especially because he seems fascinated by every crime scene. and whenever i remember him, i remember him being at a Red John crime scene.
If Bruno has confirmed RJ is one of these seven then i guess it would be fascinating to see Jane and Lisbon scratch off every name till the last one. But im still hoping it is someone else(whom we havnt seen, but Jane has met) maybe from Jane's past.

  14. I think that red John is Patrick Jane himself. Think about it he plays with His mind. I think that Patrick has a double personality. Red john is in his mind and plays trick on him and how can red john play with his mind.

  15. Bruno already said he isnt.

  16. Maybe Red John is more than one person? A group effort with a collective motive?

    ReplyDelete
  17. It's none of those.

  18. Well I think it's been confirmed that Red John is on the list, and I know a lot of people think Brett Partridge is Red John but I personally just can't see it.

I vote for that Sheriff, why would a seemingly inconsequential character from the first season be on the list otherwise.
Keep in mind that he appeared in the second episode of the show. In the first episode Red John killing was done by a copycat maybe this was the way for the showrunners to introduce Red John without actually revealing he is Red John. Also keep in mind that the guy who kidnapped those twin girls in finale of season 1 was also a Sheriff and he seemed to worship Red John maybe he became the town sheriff as a sort of homage to his master?

Bret Stiles is too old in my opinion, and Kirkland is his right hand man I think or something like that. Bertram said and did some things that might make him look as a decent candidate but Jane played him a bit too many times and I don't think Red John would stand for that.
Haffner is a Visualize member and while Red John was a part of Visualize I don't think he is anymore because he wouldn't stand for having someone else be the leader and "lord and master" instead of him, but there's also the fact he tried to hire Lisbon maybe it's symbolic of something like splitting her and Jane apart to mess with him and hinder his hunt.

  19. Me, too... I guess mostly because I would find his naivete a pretty convincing front for RJ and can imagine the actor playing a devilish killer as well as the harmless CBI-agent...

  20. how about his father? could red john be jane senior?

    ReplyDelete
  21. The last option: why people still don't get it and still don't trust Bruno?!

    ReplyDelete
  22. I have this idea that Bob Kirkland is in fact Jane's father with facial reconstructive surgery. This would explain why Bob Kirkland asked the guy; "Do you know me?...Are you sure you don't know me?" It would also explain why Jane said to Kirkland the moment he met him; "Do I know you?" He seemed to get a familiar feeling around him. This would also explain how Red John knew of Jane's connection to the last victim from childhood. This would also go along with what Heller told us that we may have seen Red John unaware in an interview after the 3rd season. If it were his father, then technically we WOULD have seen him, but with Bob Kirkland being Jane's father after a facial reconstruction, it would allow for that actor to play him too.

  23. because after every season he kept saying one thing, and as the result in the next saeason it turns out not even close as he said. I'm sure it's another twist adn RJ is someone who we'll know close to the end of the 6th season.

  24. We're nearing the end of the show, no matter if we get 6 or 7 seasons. To prove the list as false now would mean another severe failure on Jane's side, and they can't keep this up infinitely. Somehow, they have to get to the truth, and I believe Bruno that this is it. And: his post finale stuff is actually more correct than the pre finale comments!
But, hey: you can believe whatever you want, we'll all see what's right in the end. I go with Bruno in this: Red John is on that list.

  25. Obviously RJ Agent Kirkland , in two episodes this season it indicated that fact!

    ReplyDelete
  26. It has to be Brett Partridge. And I think he is the best choice. He appears in the very first episode of the show, so it would come full circle if he finally is Red John.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I had a hunch it was brett partridge, when Jane called him a ghoul. I remembered when Jane got kinapped by those young people making a movie, Red John was there he was a kinda skinny guy the same build as Partridge so i thought all along that it was him.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I think it is Jane he won't give it out if it is Jane

    ReplyDelete
  29. You're going to be seriously disappointed.

  30. My bet is for the Sheriff McAllister!

  31. Van pelt is my guess..red hair, lots of red clothes, some other symbolic stuff. Also van (3 letters) pelt (4 letters.) Red (3 letters) john (4 letters). Or Kristina "the psychic" is my next guess. Its definitely a woman!

  32. Jane asked Kirkland; "Do i know you?" cuz Kirkland greeted Jane and seemed to know him very well. But everything is a matter of opinion. ;D

  33. It is definitely Brett Stiles. One huge clue Lorelei gave was that Red John and Patrick are so much alike. The only one that is akin to Patrick is Brett Stiles. Similar influence, similar giftings, similar personality. And they like each other. Red John could have killed Patrick many times over but hasn't. So he likes him. Brett Stiles has incredible influence over people and Red John even convinces his 'disciples' that he is a good man and everything he does is for the greater good. His influence is so far reaching. Sounds like Brett Stiles to me.

    ReplyDelete
  34. The way that Red John seems to have similar or the same ability to manipulate and control people around him is the same as Jane, so it has to be Brett Stiles. Absolutely. Patrick said that Brett couldn't hurt anything, but in the same episode is shows Brett as lashing out at the guy who worked for him and was the one who killed the girl on that show. Showed a contradiction to what Jane said and showed that Brett could even con Patrick. Red John is a con artist, master manipulator and who convinces that good is bad and bad is good.

  35. Yep - it is indeed Grace Van Pelt. She knows all and has red hair... dead give away. However, motivation and back story are BIG questions needing to be answered. However, it will be the show's huge Keyser Soze moment.

  36. Patrick Jane is Red John. This tormented main character has a split personality. His name (Patrick (Pink) Jane) and Red John are directly related. His identity won't be revelled until the very last episode.

    ReplyDelete
  37. OK people - Don't be taken in by one of Bruno's deceptions. Brett Partridge is Red John. Wait you say, Partridge died in the first episode of the season. What better way to throw you off the scent ... William Blake was not only a poet, but an artist. He wrote "The Tiger" and one of his better known paintings is "Brace of Partridge". BRACE (2!) of Partridge - Partridge has a twin. Red John (Partridge) killed his twin brother and left him for Lisbon to find before knocking her out in the 1st episode this season. The missing skin on the left shoulder of the corpse in the morgue (last night) is because his twin did not have the tattoo. Partridge will return. Tiger, Tiger.
