12 May 2013
Arrow PollsSorry this is a day late. Late nights at work and family commitments got in the way. This time I scaled back on the scene choices so if there is a scene you liked best that isn't listed, please check the other box and describe it in the comments.

It is a tie for me between the con to get to the Merlyn Global mainframe and the awesome fight scene between Malcolm and Oliver. The con reminded me so much of Leverage, which I miss terribly. I love how Diggle saves Felicity and they giggle about it as they are walking away. However, the Malcolm and Oliver fight scene was one of the best choreographed scenes I've seen and this show always does fight scenes well. I the end I think action wins for me. Fight scene it is.
ReplyDeleteThis episode was made of win! I chose 'Oliver, Felicity, and Diggle run an elaborate con to get access to the Merlyn Global mainframe' if only because Oliver throwing that guy's papers was HILARIOUS, and the whole scene was awesome! and i just love those 3 working together! :3
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I love how they all had each other's backs and they were all an intricate part of the plan. Oliver knocking those papers out and Felicity and Diggle giggling when she says, "My knight in shining armor," were definite highlights.
ReplyDeleteI think the fight at the end was my favorite scene, but I thought the "Oh no" at the end from Malcolm was the best part in particular,
ReplyDeleteThat's in my favorite quotes of the episode. You can read so much into 2 words from the way he delivered them.
ReplyDeleteI much prefer the first scene of the episode. The Dark archer is just all business. no hesitation
ReplyDeleteExactly like the way he said it and the expression on Barrowman's face was just perfect. I'm really curious to see where this goes because I feel like Malcolm is now conflicted to actually do anything to his son's best friend / old best friend son
ReplyDeleteThat is what I chose too and it was also fun to see how Oliver's real life got a hold on him and prevented him from saving Felicity.
ReplyDeleteI wish Oliver would beat Malcolm for once. Next week maybe?
ReplyDeleteWhy is this tagged "GRIMM"?
ReplyDeleteThe promo has him leaving Oliver chained to die so I think he got over it after the initial shock.
ReplyDeleteThose to words gave me such hope...then I saw the promo for next week.
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be interesting!
Yup he was conflicted, but Malcolm is insane. I don't think I can depend on what form the conflict will take or how long it'll last.
ReplyDeleteMostly because I'm an idiot. I posted this right after I checked the Grimm poll and while I had a sick baby in my arms. It's fixed now. Thanks for letting me know and sorry about the confusion.
ReplyDeleteWould be fun to see the look on his face when he realizes Oliver escaped.
ReplyDeleteI've started to think Malcolm may not survive the finale. Was thinking about Tommy in this episode and Malcolm's discovery about Oliver leading to him confessing to Tommy and suddenly I had that thought.
ReplyDeleteI no longer think he'll survive either.
ReplyDeleteI liked most of them. I enjoyed the opener, that was very good. Diggle kidnapping Oliver and Moira was brilliant. I think Diggle enjoyed hitting Oliver a few times after a couple of weeks ago. Breaking into Melyn global was hilarious. "This is my about to hack face. I always look like this before I.... hack." I loved the build-up and presentation of the Oliver/Laurel scene. I loved the fight scene because it was awesome. Am I allowed 5?
ReplyDeletelol yes! I laughed so hard at that line!!
ReplyDeleteI know! When Thea appeared I was like OMG ANOTHER PERSON? lol I almost had a heart attack, thank god Diggle was there! ^^
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought about that... yeah you're probably right!
ReplyDeleteI have more than 5, it's my new favorite episode :)
ReplyDeleteThe con, Oliver and Felicity on the elevator shaft.
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely allowed to love 5 or more of them. Sadly, you can still only vote for 1. :-)
ReplyDeleteI have always thought Malcolm would die to spur Tommy into becoming Oliver's archnemesis, similar to Harry in Spider-Man. I can only hope I am wrong though. Not because I want Malcolm to live, but because I really like the Tommy character and would like to continue to do so.
ReplyDeleteHa! I loved when Felicity said, "I forgot to tell you I'm afraid of heights...which I just discovered." Or something that effect. It's all in the delivery.
ReplyDeletehe will ^^ but im actually happy he got his ass kicked twice xD
ReplyDeleteloved that scene with dig and felicity too xD
ReplyDeletecome aboard compass xD
ReplyDeleteDefinitely one of my favorite moments!
ReplyDeleteShe makes very silly lines very very good. Emily is such a good actress.
ReplyDeleteThe entire con was amazing. I swear if we have only the trio working together for an entire episode it will be totally ok with me.
ReplyDeleteIn which case, I shan't vote. It's impossible to decide.
ReplyDeleteAlso my new favourite episode :D
ReplyDeleteI agree. I would be really happy if Malcolm remains the arch nemesis ... because of Tommy but also because, for me, Malcolm works way better *because* he's got years of training on Oliver. He has put Oliver down for the count twice now...and I think that fact added to the idea of Oliver having to deal with a nemesis that will require him to work harder will be much more interesting ( and has been) than Tommy playing catch up in becoming the Black Arrow.
ReplyDelete(I still love the color coded hoods)
Diggles 'saves' Felicity by claiming she's one of Tommy's bimbos and walks her out; they start gigling when they turn the corner :D
ReplyDeleteI think it was for the best that Diggle showed. Oliver would've probably starting hitting people and then they would've had to run. Diggle had a good cover story and got them both out without any fight.
