UPDATE: Seems NBC is done with calls for now EDIT: The Night Shift (aka After Hours) just got axed too


According to Deadline NBC is starting notifying producers whose projects are not going to be picked up that their projects are dead. Dramas The Sixth Gun, Bloodline, Hatfields & McCoys, The Secret Lives Of Husbands And Wives,The Night Shift (aka After Hours) and comedies Holding Patterns, Brenda Forever*, Joe, Joe, Jane and The Gates were first to receive condolences.

Bloodline was a drama about a smart and irreverent teenager who finds herself caught in the middle of an epic struggle between two warrior families

The Sixth Gun was a drama based on the Oni Press comic about six pistols of otherworldly power in the Old West, the most dangerous of which falls into the hands of an innocent girl named Becky Montcrief who - alongside shadowy gunfighter Drake Sinclair - must battle vile men thought long dead that have set their sights on retrieving the gun

The Nightshift aka After Hours was a drama which revolves around the graveyard shift in the ER at the San Antonio Medical Center

Hatfields & McCoys was a drama which reignites the centuries-old family feud in a contemporary urban setting with Sophia Bush, Virginia Madsen, Annie Ilonzeh, James Remar, Jesse Lee Soffer, Nick Westrate, Patrick Flueger and Rebecca De Mornay.

Holding Patterns was a multi-camera comedy about a group of friends whose lives completely change after they survive a plane crash starring Erinn Hayes, Kate Lang Johnson, Robert Buckley, Oscar Nunez, Luka Jones and Nelson Franklin.

Brenda Forever was a high-concept comedy which follows the title role both as a 31-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl with Ellie Kemper, Daija Owens, David Krumholtz, Da'vine Joy Randolph, Lindsay Kraft, Mandalynn Carlson and Stephnie Weir.

Joe & Joe & Jane was a multi-camera comedy about a conflict-avoidant children's book author caught in an ongoing tug of war between his wife and his co-author/best friend with · Dave Annable, Sally Pressman, Asif Ali, Larry Wilmore, Lauren Lapkus and Will Greenberg.

The Gates was a single-camera comedy based on the U.K. series about the hijinks that ensue when parents drop off and pick up their kids at school each day

The Secret Lives Of Husbands And Wives was a drama based on Josie Brown's book about the secrets and lies of three suburban California couples exposed in the aftermath of a murder

Also some updates from Variety on NBC comedies:

Might be renewed: Guys with Kids (via Variety)
not looking good: New Normal(via Variety)
may not return: Go On (via Variety)
Parks and Rec: looks to be returning (via Variety)

*Brenda Forever might have some shot at a retooling/resurrection later

    I don't know why this popped into my head, but I just thought of of a scenario in my head.

    NBC: This is a list of the shows we're going with.
    Producer: Our show is on this list! Awesome!
    NBC: Oh wait, no. Our bad, that's the list of show we're NOT going with.

    Same here ahah, it finally arrived! Last year was actually worse for me in terms of shows I was rooting for because I had a lot of stuff on the bubble; this year I have less stakes in it (basically comedies: Go On, Community and Malibu Country, and Body of Proof), because all my other non renewed stuff is a sure thing. But it is still very exciting, and I have a lot of pilots for which I am actively rooting!

    i guess they mean like The Selection and other pilots that stay alive get rewrites, reshoots or delayed till next pilot season and then.. well we'll see if the selection gets a happy ending soon

    Kind of surprised about that one. Although I would have watched it, it wasn't a major favorite, so I am ok with it, and I actually feel that NBC is better of investing in more procedural type of shows for now

    so I' guessing the dramas being picked up will be Crisis, Believe, The Blacklist and either I Am Victor or Ironside (or both since Dracula and Crossbones are short seasons).

    Sad to see The Sixth Gun and Bloodline go. Only drama left at NBC that I'm interested in is Crisis with Gillian Anderson. Hopefully this chatter of renewing Guys With Kids over Go On is wrong.

    I kind of looking forward to The Sixth Gun, especially since Carlton Cuse was on board, but I would much rather have "Believe" get picked up. So I guess I will just be grateful that it isn't dead yet!

    4TH UPDATE: The Night Shift
    obituary was premature. In the flurry of passes, the pilot was
    erroneously bundled with those who are definitely dead, but it appears
    that no calls on it have been made yet. So if you worked on that pilot
    or have clients on it, you can breath easier, at least for now.

    If I am not missing anything, it is down to:

    Believe

    The Blacklist

    Crisis

    I Am Victor

    Ironside

    I could actually see all 5 getting a pick up. This year they had 2 fall (Revolution, Chicago Fire) and 3 midseason (Deception, Do No Harm, Hannibal). But they also have Dracula and Crossbones which will have to air sometime. It is still possible they pick all 5 and timeshare dracula and crossbones though, since I expect them to go heavier on drama hours next year (and cut down on comedy hours).
