    It definitely a tad darker than OUAT, I like that! It looks really good, I'll be watching OUAT in Wonderland. Why must they have a long title?

    So I was a little skeptical and thought this would be best airing as the "bridge" for OUaT but this looks GREAT. Easily better than the original series even, I think the special effects are nicer at least and I like the Victorian setting. Looking forward to it. And if ABC promotes this like they did Once I think it will get at least a big premiere audience.

    Wow, when we first saw Wonderland on Once i thought it looked kinda cheap, here it looks fantatic. Really looking forward to this. Hope they find ways to tie it into Once. I might be mistaken but i thought Neverland was also in the trailer.



    Also where is that trailer-music from, i've heard it before

    It was not Cora, was it? But the pirates - maybe Hook will appear. And the Mad Hatter, although the only scene was taken from OUAT.

    The shot was definitely Cora, taken from OUAT, but the woman who appeared as a queen in red is not her. But we know Cora becomes the Queen of Hearts at some point and that shot of her seating in the throne gave me hope we might see Barbara again.

    It looks cool, but Thursdays? As in the same slot of Zero Hour, Last Resort, etc.? Ouch...


    That song is a tad overused though, they used on the Revolution trailer and many others as well.

    I never had any interest in Once Upon A Time but Once Upon a Time in Wonderland looks fantastic! I will try this show for sure. This is a spin off right? I just hope that it won't matter that I don't follow Once Upon A Time.

    Ya I'm pretty sure there are rumored talks and that one article said we might see different time periods in Wonderland...So even if it builds up to Cora over time, I think it would be a smart move for people who are also OUAT viewers. (and Sebastian Stan cameo wouldn't hurt either!)

    The Queen we saw the face off is Emma Rigby who is playing the Red Queen and not the Queen of Hearts. Two different characters though I could be wrong since the press release credits Emma as the Queen of Hearts,

    You can watch Wonderland without watching OUAT. There are two separate shows, two different stories, although in Wonderland probably will appear some characters from original series like Cora- Queen of Hearts, or Mad Hatter.

    I think that Red Queen = Queen of Hearts, generally the Queen of Wonderland. And Cora might be the successor of Red Queen. She will kill her or something :D

    The rumours about time periods must be right because we have Alice's flashbacks and her rescue in present... So, maybe she was in Wonderland before Cora came and now they are helping her after the evil Cora died in OUAT's Storybrooke?

    I will give it a try for sure but I don't think the promo has done it any favours. It looks too much like a teenage love story in a mystical setting. I dunno. I was expecting more fantasy related stuff. It did have and those bit were good, but I am not too sure. Still, I will be in to try it of course. I still haven't decided how I feel about this getting the thursdays at 8 slot. That is a move I did not see coming! I think it's too high-concept for the slot I am affraid but we shall see.

    Yes, but Cora also appears (via old footage) in THIS trailer, as I was just adding onto the conversation, there are rumored talks that they might be trying to get Barbra Hershey to reprise her role...http://tvline.com/2013/04/04/once-upon-a-time-spinoff-casts-red-queen-barbara-hershey-cora/

    Additionally the same article from TV LINE explains, ”You will see [Wonderland] both post- and pre-curse. It will be very similar to Once in that there will be flashbacks of these new characters that take us to pre-curse Wonderland.”



    So we very well could see BOTH Queens. It's possible that the writers may go "the dark one" path with these Queens and call them both Queen of Hearts because there could be a magical transformation, despite that in the first novel there is also The Red Queen. I had also noticed that they have yet to mention and cast "A White Queen", so who knows how they will spin that!??

    It seems like a likely prospect, especially since Alice Adventures in Wonderland is a perfect bridge as it is the same era (In The Land Without Magic) as Peter Pan and now we know from the trailer that she and Cyprus have a connection to Neverland too somewhere around this time...

    VERY strong influence from Alice: Madness Returns by American McGee. Not as bizzarre, but the main premise, down to psych ward is almost identical.

    And yay for me being right- That was a mistake in description, Emma Righsby IS red queen.

    Unknown. Regina did imply that she could choose who to trap and she did trap Whale, but show never made it clear for now.

    This looks great! I wasn't sure about Wonderland when I first read about OUaT having a spinoff, but this promo looks fantastic! I hope the special effects is better than what OUaT has sometimes, b/c Wonderland looks a lot more dependent on CGI than OUaT did. The girl playing Alice seems good & convincing, Cyrus the genie is hot & charming, and the couple seems to have pretty good chemistry from the little I've seen in the promo. I'm not sure about the knave or Red Queen, but maybe their acting will be better once I see more of them. I hope this is at least as good as OUaT's 1st season was. Looks really promising.
