According to insiders, there will be two character deaths in Nashville's gripping final episode, slated for May 22.

    Yeah...one the explosion and one might be Jolen overdosing, or killing herself or IDK.

    I don't think it's Peggy. The press release says she "returns with a secret of her own" and I'm guessing pregnancy.

    I am not completely sold that one will be Jolene. These shows like drama - she definitely brings drama to Juliet's life. If it was Jolene, I think that we would have seen more bonding happen between mother and daughter.

    The severity of the spoiler depends on whether the character(s) is a "major" character or not. It could be any number of characters or combinations that could propel new drama in season two. My guess is it is likely to be two of the following: Jolene (her death through an overdose would propel Juliette to new types of drama; possibly substance abuse herself)....Peggy (her death would result in scandal and murder charges for Teddy)...Will (there is an explosion being filmed which may involve him. his death by misadventure could cause new complications for Gunnar; especially if he's involved in some way)....Dante and his girlfriend (after having scammed close to half a million dollars from Juliette, they turning up dead all of the sudden may shine a suspicious light on Juliette; especially if word were to come out about her losing the money)

    I heard a while back that a songstress would die, but I cant figure out who that would be as the 3 I can think of are too important to the show.


    They could kill Teddy, Peggy, Dante or Avery and I wouldn't mind as they are all secondary characters there to fill plot lines in my opinion. They could have more potential but I prefer when the story isn't taken away from the main 4 (Rayna, Deacon, Juliette and Scarlett)

    I too have heard that rumour, and I really hope it isn't true. I can't imagine them killing off any of the three songstresses... And I'll be very upset if they do!

    Could be Maddie. That would be a pretty big twist. Don't know if the network would "go there" however given that it involves children.

    I think it could be Maddie also. It looks like Deacon may find out about her. I think it would be traumatizing for the other Stella sister to work without her, pretending she was dead. I think Nashville has too many deaths and near deaths already. Also, if they stop filming in nashville, maybe Peggy would be one to die also. Not looking forward to the explosion at all.

    Remember this about the explosion everyone, it is took place in the middle of an intersection between two streets (Granny White and Battlefield, you can google map it and see that it is a four way stop intersection) , which would indicate that it was actually part of a larger car accident, not just an isolated explosion like a bomb going off, which more likely to occur at a building. So it is very possible, that whoever is in the car, doesn't actually die, it may simply be that someone's life hangs in the balance until the start of season 2. The death of the two individual may actually have more to do with the predicted murder versus the explosion. Or it could be that someone commits murder and then in effort to escape is involved in a car accident/explosion.

    Dante is credited to be in ep 20 so may be its him & jolene? Its unlikely there'll be 2 separate "death" events. Sounds like a car chase, juilette could be involved too???
