Melissa and Joey - Renewed for fourth season + gets more episodes in season three

Ahead of the series’ Season 3 premiere tomorrow, I’ve learned that the network has given the comedy starring Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence a back order, bringing the third season to 20 episodes. Additionally, ABC Family has ordered a 20-episode fourth season, making Melissa & Joey the network’s first comedy to reach 100 episodes.

    Deadline updated the original post, saying that season 3 has been given a back order for 20 more episode (in addition to the 16 previously ordered), bringing season 3 to a total of 36 episodes.

    Season 1 had 30 episodes and Season 2 had 15 episodes. This is fantastic :)

    Great!! and anybody knows how many episodes will be the 3rd season? because i thought after reading this that there will be 20 but i just looked in wikipedia and it says 40 and now i'm confused :S
