    We'll most likely see clips though, that are taken from the franchise.
    Maybe in future seasons though, I'd love to see at least one of the avengers guest star.

    no but if the show is successful, i am sure there would be a season finally that borders on the line of classified aka in need of spuperpower hero's and such and so one or 2 might appear.

    The Avengers all cost way too much money. Maria hill is cheapest we'll get her i bet but actual Avenger....we'd b incredibly lucky maybe to possibly get....Hawkeye. but thats a small chance jeremy renner probably doesnt get payed as much as the rest.

    I think this happens before Avengers at least in the continuity of the Marvel film universe.
    Maybe sometime between Iron Man 2 and Avengers

    Well Joss has said he wants the show to stand on its own and not have people going when is Tony going to turn up. He wants the new characters to have time to establish themselves. I can see lots of references to the events happening in IM3, Thor 2 and especially Cap America 2 which is very SHIELD based.

    I agree. I'm hoping it'll be epic, but I'm a bit worried it'll be an utter disaster. I love Whedon and Coulson!lives, so I'll probably check it out regardless.
