After making a seemingly routine arrest of a man exposing himself in Central Park, Detective Rollins (Kelli Giddish) has a bad feeling about the suspect and calls upon the entire SVU squad and ADA Barba (Raúl Esparza) to help. With no way to discover the suspect's true identity, he masterfully outplays them at every turn. A shocking theory comes to light, and as Barba's trial comes to a close, the situation rapidly escalates and Detective Benson (Mariska Hargitay) is put into mortal danger. Also starring Ice-T (Detective Odafin Tutuola), Dann Florek (Captain Donald Cragen), Danny Pino (Detective Nick Amaro), Dean Winters (Brian Cassidy) and Tamara Tunie (M.E. Melinda Warner).

ReplyDeleteNot that I think Warren would kill her off I'll still feel better once/if Mariska signs her contract for S15. I do wonder what plans WL has for Cassidy though. The forums have been torn about his and Olivias relationship. Could Olivias mortal danger somehow be mortal for him too... Dun Dun.
ReplyDeleteAnd I hope hope we'll see Barba again in S15 or else this will be his final stint on SVU. I do think he should be able to do both SVU and Hannibal but I can't decide that unfortunately ;)

ReplyDeleteI wish WL would end Cassidy and Liv's relationship it's not going to last and it's pathetic. Mariska already signed her contract, they wouldn't have renewed SVU if she wasn't going to be back, no point
ReplyDeleteBenson is the main character, and one thing did you ever consider that Belzer probably wanted to work parttime. That's why we rarely see him, just saying. It's also contract wise, he probably put it into his contract.

ReplyDeleteYeah I don't mind Liv & Cassidy together either. Somehow I did like her better with Hayden but since that ain't happening Cassidy makes her happy so.
ReplyDeleteAnd nope Mariska still hasn't signed on for season 15. I'll watch even without her but I'm not daft, I know there's many out there who wouldn't.
@Petra: Mariska's contract is already signed. When they renewed SVU they renewed her contract. I think it's a sorta like a year by year thing. If SVU gets renewed they renew the contract.

ReplyDeleteAs written, I would watch without her but I do get the show would probably not live long if she goes. And don't get me wrong, I like Benson but I like the others just as much.
I hope Barba is back next year - maybe with a back story. There is an article on Raul Esparza in next week's TV Guide.
ReplyDeleteShe's still negotating, but I doubt she's leaving. I think everyone is really going too far with thinking she is.. Mariska didn't renew her contract last year until after the finale episode.

ReplyDeleteOK, I'm confused. I thought this was supposed to be a two-hour finale. But this and the many different listings I've seen online all say it's a normal one-hour finale. So which one is it?

Mariska's contract hasn't been signed as of yet. But Warren Leight did say that she will be back next season
ReplyDeleteOK. Still kinda confused though since, when NBC first announced their May Sweeps finale schedule back in March (I think), SVU was listed as a 2-hour finale. Wonder why it changed and they didn't say anything?
