  2. YAY Hawaii FIVE-0, Scott Caan, Grace Park!! :)

But y didn't Alex / Daniel make the list? :(

  3. Wasn't expecting Revenge to be nominated in all these categories. I mean, I love it, but I didn't really think it's a show aimed at teenagers...

  4. Katie Cassidy nominated for Choice Actress over Emily Bett Rickards and Susannah Thompson? What a joke.

  5. Word.

Also, Arrow isn't sci-fi/fantasy. But I shouldn't complain because if it had been categorized as action, there might not have been room for Nikita :)

  6. The noms for these awards always give the kicks!

  7. I loved her in Melros Place but I don't know what's up with her on Arrow? I watched only the first 8 episodes of the show. But the acting overall made me cringe and laugh at the same time.

Katie hands down is probably the worst out of all of them.

  8. Katie Cassidy is the worst thing on Arrow? Seriously? She's one of the best, Stephen Amell isn't that good of an actor whereas Katie is great, she is far from the worst thing in the show. Emily Bett Rickards is my favourite on the show, but she's not a main cast member until season 2, meaning that she can't be included

  9. well superheroes are fantasy, so....

  10. Arrow's universe has no superpowers. The producers put major emphasis on that last summer, when people kept asking if the show will be like Smallville.

  11. Go Nikita, Maggie, Lyndsy and Shane! Too bad Maggie and Lyndsy are up against each other.

  12. Crying at the choice tv female action. because look at all those WOC! Awesome!

  13. It's still set in a fantasy world.

  14. I hate to pick nits, but... if it isn't supernatural in any way, it's not fantasy. It may be unrealistic but that's true for 99% of TV.

  15. I'll ask you to point out Starling City on a map then.

  16. Damn it! I'm glad both Maggie Q and Lydnsy Fonseca are nominated, but on the other hand it's awful because it rips the Nikita fandom apart when it comes to the voting and they get squad, like in the past years...

  17. It's actually rated TV-PG on TV so it is aimed at teens/young adults.

    Really only happy for SPN.
Half of those movies weren't that great. I watched the iron man sequel but twilight I very much dislike and I'm 17.
I really like revenge so glad its up on the list and not bad choices with the fantasy. The actors and actresses don't really favor much but I Emma Watson, Hayden Paneterrie and Hugh Jackman (go Aussie!).
Music wise not really my taste with the selection. Maybe a little bit of Alicia Keys and Bruno Mars.
    Fashion-so what.
Sports- Wouldn't want a quiz about it, so that's that.
Comedian- I like Ellen, she has a good personaility.
I hope Supernatural will get an award, the rest not too concerned with but its interesting to find out the winners and all :)

  19. Yeah Stephen is dull. I'll give you that. But with Katie, this role doesn't seem right for her.

Idk but overall Arrow itself is not that great of a show. I might consider re watching cuz I loved Felicity and I hear she'll be a regular next Season so I'll decide later.

  20. Go Nikita!!! But really, Elementary under 'action'? I didn't see that coming.

  21. The Vampire Diaries!!!!!! The lead actors totally deserve to win..their performances this past season have blown me off..they are brilliant!
Very happy Revenge got nominated. Despite season 2 hasn't been so good Emily Van Camp has done such an amazing job...!
As for the comedy category I'm rooting for Modern Family and Big Bang Theory(maybe)...
    The TV categories rock!!
In the movie categories...two words: IRON MAN...just amazing!! ROBERT DOWNEY JR...simply the best...!!

the others(singer, hottie etc) are completely lame...they just keep nominating the same(so called teen idols)that in my opinion are not that talented at all....they are just too overrated...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Katie's absolutely shitty in Arrow and you can see the general opinion on her. It makes NO sense she was nominated.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Katie being nominated is a joke frankly...

    ReplyDelete
  24. Not only Kaite was absolute crap in it, she HASN'T DONE ANYTHING. What a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  25. That's a really good point. I'd still put anything with costumed superheroes firmly in the fantasy camp though.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I see where you're coming from, I guess it depends on one's perception of "fantasy". We'll agree to disagree :)

  27. The one thing I'll say for her is that the writing for her character has been absolutely atrocious. Laurel's been nothing but a love interest and an occasional damsel-in-distress (no writers, having her fight back a few times doesn't mean everything if she ultimately ends up needing saving all the time). Also, her attitude just sucks. She's utterly shrill, dull, annoying and self-righteous. She only seemed to be a little fun in a few moments she had with Tommy, which is why I liked them better than Oliver and Laurel.

Her character could've worked a lot better if they actually DID something with her being an attorney. She could've been much more involved in the cases Oliver was also taking care of as a vigilante. Unfortunately, all her job ended up being was a crutch for her getting in trouble and needing to be saved.

But yeah, even considering all of that, her performance was always weak. And she's not believable as an intelligent, idealistic lawyer at all.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'm not sure what happened since all the other characters have something going on for them. Unfortunatelly neither the writing nor the actress is helping. So it's the most ridiculous thing ever she got nominated when the show has far better actresses, UGH SO ANNOYING!! Specially because she'll get attention she doesn't deserve.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yeah, if she becomes Black Canary her character might finally have a point.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Gonna have to disagree. Stephen is a much better actor than Katie. Sadly, from Arrow's cast, despite loving her on SPN, I find Katie to be the worst in Arrow.
