Hmm Wonder if he''l be a little more "Kyle Chutsky" (and Frank Lundy)-esque? I always felt Quinn never quite filled those shoes...
ReplyDeletePoor Lem. :(
ReplyDeleteDamn you, Shane!
ReplyDeleteLem! Kenny Johnson was awesome on The Shield! If his character dies on Dexter, I wonder if he'll die around the same way that he did on The Shield and Sons of Anarchy? Getting blown up....
ReplyDeleteI never cared for Quinn but Lundy, I liked.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I feel Quinn is glimpse into what Harry might have been like as young man, but he always somehow disappoints me, because it's like he a has a serious death wish.
ReplyDeleteKyle Chutsky is a character from the novels, who has not appeared in the series, but a few of the characters, especially Lundy, def have elements of Chutsky (who in the books is Deb's bigger love interest. But Frank's position in the FBI specializing in tracking serial killers, is similar to the occupation of a US Marshall...
But one thing I really like about the series, is that I feel like all the characters have elements of other characters with in them (kind of going along the lines of "barrel girls") in that characters are almost like distorted images of other characters, if that make sense?!
