I much prefer Oxygen, but maybe it's because they don't want any trouble with NBCUniversal's network named Oxygen : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxygen_(TV_channel)
I'm not sure what to think of the title change really.... I hate the title and how it implies star-crossed lovers and sounds so cheesy, but they literally ARE star-crossed lovers so it makes sense. XD
As much i like how much pilots been picked up you know some of it wont last long on tv bc the networks are gonna be morons and let the Nelson Rating Family give bad ratings to the shows we hope we wanna see live to season 2...basically just relax for the fall and enjoy the ride and endure the pain when the networks will cut some of the pilot shows like they do every year
Okay I really don't care what its called as long as they recast Matt Lanter as the male lead since he's 30 and way to old to play a believable high school student. Yes, I know his character is suppose to be an alien but he's still way to old for the part. Plus I don't think he's a very good actor...
I don't like the name change. Although I was a lot more excited about The Tomorrow People and The 100 (yesss!) as well as the selection (sad face), i will still check this one out. But I don't like the new name
Sadly yeah. It's likely that from the 5 CW pilots, only 1-2 will continue to the year of 2014-2015, and we'll say goodbye to the rest by this time next year.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Yeah because that is a real improvement... =S
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell.....Oxygen is a much better title than Star-Crossed.
ReplyDeleteThat's a horrible name. I prefer Oxygen.
ReplyDelete•_•
ReplyDeleteWhat? No
ReplyDeleteThat's even worse than Oxygen... Reminds me of First Cut (Emily Owens M.D.), way better than the official one.
ReplyDeleteDon't know why but Oxygen sounds like a title for porn directed at women
ReplyDelete.....
ReplyDeleteSounds like First Cut when it changed to Emily Owens M.D. =/.
ReplyDeleteWho made that decision?!
ReplyDeleteI much prefer Oxygen, but maybe it's because they don't want any trouble with NBCUniversal's network named Oxygen : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxygen_(TV_channel)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but that is awful. Why not just name it "Star Crossed Lovers" and be done with any pretension? They kinda did!
ReplyDeletei prefer Oxygen, sounds more intriguing than Star-Crossed.
ReplyDeleteStar-Crossed sounds more like teenage shit.....oh wait
I'm not sure what to think of the title change really....
ReplyDeleteI hate the title and how it implies star-crossed lovers and sounds so cheesy, but they literally ARE star-crossed lovers so it makes sense. XD
That's just so bad.
ReplyDeleteJust because it's literal doesn't mean it sounds any better.
ReplyDeleteI liked Oxygen way better. Thsi is just kind of cliché.

ReplyDeleteHa! XD
ReplyDeleteI know right?
I guess that was my point. I cannot fault them since it makes sense to me, but it just sounds so bad!
Exactly, I don't really see the point of changing it to this name.
ReplyDeleteHahhaha yes! I mean, it's sounds so cheesy and flat; at least Oxygen had a modicum of "mystique" or something

ReplyDeleteYep, this
ReplyDeleteExactly my feelings, it sounds like a teenage show
ReplyDeleteI agree, I also didn't like the change
ReplyDeleteI'm not really sure why it was necessary.
ReplyDeleteIt's not what I think but what I hope. I root for The Tomorrow People and The 100, and think the Originals should do well enough too.
ReplyDeleteMe neither
ReplyDeleteIt's just like the Emily Owens thing.
ReplyDeleteI look at all the networks and CW is the smallest one lol
ReplyDeleteI prefer Oxygen, but that does not mean I won't check it out. I can understand the name though, as it can be taken both literally and figurative.
ReplyDeleteSounds like another dumb reality show. :) Oh, and aren't they repeating Roswell's storyline?
ReplyDeleteYeah... lets not....
ReplyDeleteHe won't need to if the role calls for him to be an emotionless alien, that shouldn't be too hard.
ReplyDeleteSadly yeah. It's likely that from the 5 CW pilots, only 1-2 will continue to the year of 2014-2015, and we'll say goodbye to the rest by this time next year.
ReplyDeleteWow I didn't even recognize him as the seem guy and I've seen 4 episodes!
