  2. YAYYYYYYYY for Parenthood and Monica Potter! Finally a nomination for an extraordinry performer. I would love to see Keri Russell win too!

  3. A little surprised by the nominations for "Political Animals"... I never could get into that series and thought it was mediocre honestly.

Loving all the Justified and Game of Thrones nominations!
But... Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Walter Coggins? Why? Ouch!

Nice to see Tatiana Maslany get the nod!

She really has impressed me on Orphan Black this year.

I'm impressed with the nominations which is rare since usually they are not that good for me.. Really happy with all the nominations for The Americans, House of Cards and mostly for Tatiana Maslany.

Yay, Nikolaj and Emilia! Well deserved.

  6. Great to see Justified, Game of Thrones and Breaking bad getting so many nominations! (sadly in the same categories.)
As much as I would love to see Timothy Olyphant or Bryan Cranston win, I really think Aden Young from Rectify deserves all the prices he can get. I don´t ever remember being that impressed with an actor.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Agreed on Aden Young!

There are so many layers to his performance.
He has turned what could have been a canned and generic fresh out of prison role into a nuanced and complex performance that is sublime.

  8. Do they realise that CBS has other comedies besides TBBT? Where's Melissa McCarthy's nomination in the comedy actress category? She's one of the funniest women in Hollywood at the minute. Ridiculous!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Rather iimpressive list actually. The only suggestion I have is, of course, Anna Torv and John Noble for Fringe and Tatiana Maslany for supporting actress in Orphan Black.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I just hope Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones are winners in all the categories they're nominated.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Finally, Michael Cudlitz makes the list!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Funny thing, there are actually shows and people I like and root for here. That's really rare;)

So good luck Parks & Rec, New Girl, The Americans, GOT, Political Animals (Sebastian Stan!) and Benedict Cumberbatch!!

  13. JAKE JOHNSON FOR THE WIN!! NEW GIRL FOR THE WIN! ZOOEY FOR THE WIN! MAX GREENFIELD FOR THE WIN! do your thang girl. go crazy.

  15. YAY go Jake Johnson!

  16. He does a great job. You can´t help liking him, but yet you understand the distrust from the people around him. His performance was out of the ordinary and I hope he get´s recognized for his performace.
I can see that Abigail Spencer is listed above. She also did an amazing job, so good for her.

  17. Both WALTON Goggins and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau deserves to win. Last season I would have given it to Goggins no doubt, but this year it is a difficult choice.

  18. Interesting how majority are from cable shows. There are some really good network shows that deserve awards too.

  19. I really hope Jessica Lange wins. Very deserving.

Comedy Actress : Amy, Julia or Laura would delight me.

Comedy Supporting Actor: Adam would be amamzing, Chris is always a delight and Danny is still the best thing about Community

Comedy Supporting Actress : Carly Chaikin is superb, also Casey Wilson!

    Guest Comedy Peformer: Patton Oswalt!

Drama Series: How great is it to see The Americans? This is tough for me, love that show and Homeland and Breaking Bad and GOT!

Drama Actor: Woah this is so tough but I go for Olyphant he has had a cracker of a season on Justified and never gets his due

Drama Actress : Tatiana Maslany go nominated??? I NEED HER TO WIN NOW! Wow never expected that show to have any nominations so this is amazing.

Drama Supporting Actotr: Michael Cudlitz only because Southland is cancelled now and he will never get the recongition he deserves elsewhere. Really happy Nikolaj, Walton, Jonathan and Noah got nominated as well.

Drama Supporting Actress : Regina King for the same reasons as Michael but also happy with Emilia, Anna or Abigail (yay Rectify getting some much deserved love!)

Guest Drama Peformer: Jim Beaver!!! Though would take Diana Rigg or Jimmy Smits

Movie or Mini-series: The Hour! Happy to see Top of the Lake here though.

Actor in Movie/Mini-series : Dominic West though I hear that Matt and Michael are amazing in Behind the Candelabra can't wait to see it

Actress in Movie/Mini-series : Romola or Elisabeth both fanastic.

Supporting Actor in Movie/Mini-series: Any of the Top of the Lake actors so so good

  27. Vera Farmiga deserves that award for her outstanding performances in Bates Motel every single episode!

    ReplyDelete
  28. TBBT has always been over-represented in awards season.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Tatiani Maslani has to win best actress for Orphan Black! She make playing 5+ clones so easy, and their different personalities and accents must have taken a while to perfect. She's fantastic. The other best actresses are great too, but Tatiani definitely deserves it.

I think Game of Thrones should just sweep, please, heh! Got bored with The Americans like 6 eps in.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Best Drama- Game Of Thrones. I haven't seen all of Breaking Bad and Homeland just didn't make it this year, not for me anyway.

  36. I watched all of New Girl(2 Seasons) and i still can't understand all the fuzz with that show... Sometimes it becomes too dumb, with the characters being way cartoonish...

Is that intended? I just don't get it... Although i love when the character of Nick and Tran talk... I really like his character most...
