Well ummm.... everyone knows what I'm going to say well if you don't where are you?
ReplyDeleteCrazy Ones , Intelligence.
ReplyDeleteTwo hour comedy block on Thursdays?
ReplyDeleteHawaii Five 0 moving to Tuesday 10PM, The Good Wife and The Mentalist moving to Fridays?
You're missing Friends With Better Lives. So... Red is dead?
ReplyDeleteI rarely watch CBS shows. I only have 3 exceptions : The Good Wife, 2 Broke Girls and Golden Boy (RIP). I'll give Mom a try, though.
ReplyDeleteTo me Criminal Minds will move on another day at 10PM and CSI will stick at 10PM on Wed. but will have a new lead show (NCIS L.A ?)
ReplyDeleteCrazy Ones, Mom, & Intelligence are on the top of my list the returning shows.
ReplyDeletei think cbs will have the most shuffling around. here's what i think could be a likely schedule:
ReplyDeleteMonday:
HIMYM
Mom
Mike and Molly
Two Broke Girls
Elementary
Tuesday:
NCIS
NCIS: LA
Person of Interest
Wednesday:
Hostages
Criminal Minds
CSI: Las Vegas
Thursday:
The Big Bang Theory
Two and a Half Men
Crazy Ones
We are Men
Intelligence
Friday:
Survivor
Hawaii Five-O

Saturday:
CrimeTime Saturday
48 Hours
Sunday:
60 Minutes
Amazing Race
Good Wife
Mentalist
Midseason:
Reckless
Backstrom ???
The Millers
Friends with Better Lives
What do you all think? Which shows do you think will stay in the same timeslot and which shows do you think will move timeslots?
As long as Crazy Ones, Intelligence and Mom is on the lineup I'm good.
ReplyDeleteSAME!!!
ReplyDeleteis Hostages really an 8pm show? what i would do is swap Hostages and Survivor, then swap Hostages and the Mentalist/The Good Wife therefore having Hostages debut on Sunday...
ReplyDeleteThanks Nao Finnegan I knew I had missed one :) It should be added in now.
ReplyDeleteThe latest we have is here
http://www.spoilertv.com/2013/05/ncis-red-might-be-dead.html
Not looking good. Although we'll know more later during the CBS Upfronts.
CSI is doing very good rating (and demo) at 10PM on Wed. so why do they risk to put another show at this slot ?
ReplyDeleteI think Tuesday CBS has not been successful in launching a new show on Tuesday 10PM since The Mentalist. It won't be a bad idea to movie H50 to Tuesdays, NCIS:LA and H50 even did a crossover episode last year.
ReplyDeleteI just want Person of Interest and Crazy Ones. I dont understand CBS for passing Beverly Hills Cop and Anatomy of Violence.
ReplyDeletehow old are you ?
ReplyDeleteI just remembered NCIS: Red my end up after NCIS: LA in 2014 but we'll just have to wait and see I just hate Monday's schedule now due to DWTS & Castle.I can't understand why people are watching Castle because of Caskett but really people Castle is a lot like Bones and the last few episodes of H50 has tuned out really good so far when the ratings has been low I hope CBS will move it but I guess we'll have to stick with it it dos rate good when DWTS isn't on
ReplyDeleteA lot of people hoping it'll be on after NCIS: LA but if Red gets picked up it may not happen unless it goes after NCIS instead or the other way around
ReplyDeleteI thought NCIS : RED got passed on.
ReplyDeleteWell, without a single word yet about Super Clyde's fate, I'll just cheer for it be the next Super Fun Night and find a place on another network next year.
ReplyDeleteH50 rates too good to move to Fridays
ReplyDeleteI do too, Tracy. It was a great show.
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest will be @ 10.
ReplyDeleteOh no!!!
ReplyDeleteon friday ... doesn't sound good ... i wish they would hv put it during the week ...
ReplyDeleteIntelligence in the midseason? why? that's the one I don't understand!
ReplyDeleteI knew that POI was being moved (cause I had an inkling that they were gonna expand their comedy block on Thursday)...
I was expecting Elementary to be moved... It's going to fall next season. =(
ReplyDeleteoh dear. intelligence in the midseason? i thought it was actually going to be in Elementary's spot :( really hope the schedule is changed before fall- was really looking forward to intelligence. now i have to wait til november/december/january for shows like intelligence, crisis, believe, mind games and rake...
ReplyDeleteI wanted person of interest at 10 on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteI liked it on Thursday
ReplyDeletehow is it going to fall? I mean it will have a fight on its hands with Scandal and Parenthood but that doesn't mean it will take last spot...
ReplyDeleteI think it's a bad move how can POI be related to a police drama? Like a lot of people predicted H50 should've been on after NCIS: LA
ReplyDeleteDamn it! Why did they move Person of Interest? I really didn't like this change at all..
ReplyDeleteIs there still some shows to be picked up?
ReplyDeleteI will check Crazy Ones and Intelligence (but I thought that they put Intelligence in fall). Also I am mad that I have to wait for Mike and Moly till mid season.
ReplyDeleteDoubt it since most of it's competition will remain, and it;s already established an audience at that time
ReplyDeleteElementary in the same spot is to get in to a season 3, what basically means > season 4 > syndication
ReplyDeleteI knew it would happen
ReplyDeleteThey will probably premiere sometime in late Feb to air episodes continuously so you might have to wait a bit longer
ReplyDeleteCbs has a dominating Tuesday
ReplyDeleteI am happy for Person of interest as it will be competing against shows like lucky 7 and chicago fire instead of American idol / glee and grey's anatomy. plus the lead in of NCIS- La is much better than the comedy lead in
ReplyDeleteWhere the hell is Mom ? #KillMeNow
ReplyDeleteIt should do better
ReplyDelete"Mom" in 9:30 PM in Mondays... Not "Mike and Molly" guys...
ReplyDeleteScandal is getting bigger and bigger, and Parenthood has a better chance than any collapsed show from NBC. That said, Elementary will lose a few viewers, which is natural and happen with all shows, but the competition will be harder and I can't see it getting mid-2s numbers anymore. I hope I'm wrong, I really do.
ReplyDeleteI actually thought PoI was much better on Thursdays with Elementary and that it would remain there...
ReplyDeleteThanks Fixed. Mike and Molly is actually Mid-Season for 22 Episodes
ReplyDeleteIt's there now. Mike and Molly is actually Mid-Season for 22 Episodes
ReplyDeleteBig HUGE Objection to moving Hawaii 5 0 from Monday at 10pm to Friday at 9pm
ReplyDeletewtf? are they trying to get rid of it already? I have a very bad feeling about this
a 22 episode Midseason entry? Never heard that before.
ReplyDeleteUgh, WHY DID THEY MOVE POI TO TUESDAYS?! It was perfectly fine where it was. :( At least The Crazy Ones is taking POI's timeslot. Sucks that we have to wait till midseason for Intelligence.
ReplyDeleteInteresting timeslot for Mom. Don't really care about the rest
ReplyDeleteCrappy ratings at its current timeslot is the reason why H50 is moving
ReplyDeleteI know why. CBS wanted 2 hours of comedies on Thursday. POI has to be moved now. If Elementary is moved out of its spot, it will probably die. POI can only go in one spot. Tuesday at 10 has been a failure for CBS for years now. Putting POI will fix that issue. They know it gets a lot of viewers and they know it has a large fanbase. It competes with weak competition at its new time. CBS made their strongest night even stronger too. NCIS ,NCIS LA, AND POI all on the same night is awesome.
ReplyDeleteDamn it Intelligence is on Monday at 10. I'm going to watch The Blacklist.
ReplyDeleteTAAHM is a bigger lead in so maybe not
ReplyDeleteHawaii five o is dead now
ReplyDeleteits doubtful that the schedule will be changed before fall
ReplyDeleteairing after the winter olympics
ReplyDeleteyou might not have to if Mom bombs in the fall
ReplyDeleteif Mom is a hit and gets more episodes does Mike and Molly go to Friday or get a reduced order?
ReplyDeleteActually mixing PoI with the NCIS doesn't sound like a horrible idea to me. Sure, 9pm is better than 10pm, but it's nowhere near what they've done to The Mentalist.
ReplyDeleteYeah, you're right. I'm confident POI will make Tuesdays at 10 come alive again.
ReplyDeleteHi Dark ! Do you know haw many episodes CSI will get next season ? Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteI don't currently, sorry. If we find out we'll make a post
ReplyDeleteHostages/Intelligence v Castle v Blacklist is going to be interesting.
ReplyDeleteI guess that's all she wrote for Hawaii 5-0 it's been given the kiss of death time slot.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised H50's moving to Friday, but I'm just glad that Mondays at 10 will no longer have three shows I watch in the timeslot. I can finally watch Castle live again and not have to worry about getting spoiled!
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why Mike and Molly has a full 22 episode season, but is moving to midseason. I'm confused, CBS.
The ratings are crappy, but they could have moved it to Tuesdays or Thursday. Moving it to Fridays is just strange. It seems as if they are trying to kill the show.
ReplyDeleteWell done CBS. Kill off one of your best shows by giving it a death slot on Friday nights. The only worse timeslot would've been Sunday at 10pm.
ReplyDeleteWho says it has to be related? CBS has just put the three most watched scripted dramas on TV in a single night block. The network just basically stole "Must See TV" away from NBC.
ReplyDeleteThey are not trying to kill it. H50 is a CBS owned show and has a big syndication deal waiting for it. The show is safe.
ReplyDeleteInteresting stuff.
ReplyDelete- I thought it would be Elementary moving to Tuesdays instead of POI but I suppose it works either way.
- Splitting the 10pm time slot on Monday nights will be good for other networks but not CBS. At least not in the fall. Hostages had better be a damn strong show or this won't work.
- It's good that CBS finally got the message with H50. It's a very flashy, very pretty show with very bad writing. CBS will let it flounder on Fridays for a few more seasons to get the syndication # as high as they can then they'll drop the hammer on it, as they should.
I never thought there was a chance they would go with only 1 new fall drama, that was a surprise for me. But I must say, that is a way better idea than launching yet another drama on fridays instead of using undercover boss. But I would hope it was intelligence and not hostages. And it feels weird that intelligence is not after POI
ReplyDeleteIt has 22 episodes because the goal is to get it to syndication as soon as possible. Also, with 4 new fall comedies, CBS is likely to bring it back by November Sweeps or January, because it would be surprising if all 4 new comedies would work. My guess is that it will claim Mondays at 8h30 by November Sweeps.
ReplyDeleteI think Intelligence is kind of doomed to be honest, especially with a midseason start :/ If Mom really explodes as they think it will, maybe then it has a shot
ReplyDeleteI am quite happy that they decided that it was needed on Mondays instead of Thursdays, I have been advocating it for a long time. But I would have replaced We Are Men by Friends with Better Lives, sounds much more compatible with How I Met Your Mother
ReplyDeleteTo open a comedy block. While POI's ratings are almost certain to be down year to year, it can easily take on Lucky 7 and, most likely, Chicago Fire. It will be fine.
ReplyDeleteThey needed space to debut a new drama on a weekday (Monday-Thursday) and that was the only open slot they had. The other alternative would be to move POI, CSI, NCIS-LA, Criminal Minds or Elementary to Fridays, but they all have higher ratings. I do like H50 quite a lot though, just being objective here. Personally, I would have moved Elementary to Fridays, slided POI in the 10pm hour on Thursdays and moved H50 to Tuesdays after LA
ReplyDeleteI would be surprised if they reduce its order since they are certain to want to get it to syndication as fast as possible. There is also friends with better lives waiting in the wings, although that could be this year's friend me (hopefully not, I am looking forward for it). My guess is that one of the 4 new comedies flops early on and Mike and Molly replaces it.
ReplyDeletePutting an established show on Friday is a better idea, I agree. I can see why CBS put POI on Tuesday. They now have the three most watched scripted dramas on broadcast TV in one single block. They're going to crush it on Tuesdays. This move may even help boost NCISLA's demo # a little.
ReplyDeleteI say We Are Men is more likely to bomb than Mike and Molly
ReplyDeleteUnlikely at this point IMO
ReplyDeleteThey needed space for the comedy block. It did make sense (and I love POI) even though I would have placed it Wednesdays at 8 instead.
ReplyDeleteI love Person of Interest and even though it did have A LOT of serialized elements this year, at the end of the day, it is still a crime procedural. So it can relate to a police drama! Certainly more than it could with Two and a Half Men...
ReplyDeleteI share this feeling about Intelligence. Very sad.
ReplyDeleteMaybe not, but even though the lead-in is bigger, I think POI's lead in was probably a more compatible one. We will see, but I don't think the show will do any better than it did this season (in relative terms, of course)
ReplyDeleteBeverly Hill Cops certainly was surprising, we all thought it was a sure thing.
ReplyDeletePanicked initially when I saw Hawaii Five-0's move, but I think it will be fine. Putting a new show on Friday would be a horrible plan, so I can understand why this was done.
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest vs Sons of Anarchy in the fall should be quite the battle.
ReplyDeleteH50 would have to sink very low not to get a season 5 imo. Beyond that it is anyone's bet right now.
ReplyDeleteOMG, why did CBS move POI to 10pm?
ReplyDeleteHow is Elementary going to fair with comedies ahead of it instead of POI? Not sure not moving Elementary is a good idea either.
ReplyDeleteI can't figure out how having Elementary on after a group of comedies will help it and what will we do on Sunday and the football delays? Will you move programs to a later time or just leaving us hanging again this year guessing when we should watch or tape our favorite program which was delayed or deleted thanks to games or presidents.
ReplyDeleteI don't like how they moved Hawaii 5-O to Friday night. That usually is the kiss of death in the near future! Leave it on Monday or move to Tuesday with NCIS!
ReplyDeleteI'm hearing that Mike and Molly is being held back for mid-season. Can anyone confirm that? I hope it's not true.
ReplyDeleteI think CBS has not been successful in launching a new show on Tuesday 10PM since The Mentalist. It won't be a bad idea to movie H50 to Tuesdays, NCIS:LA and H50 even did a crossover episode last year.
ReplyDeletehow old are you ?

ReplyDelete2 Broke Girls
ReplyDeleteTwo and a Half Men
Mike and Molly
Criminal Minds
Also missing from the returning shows :)
It's not a very good year for new shows on CBS. Only one survived from last year, and a few pilots made it to series :/
