    I think it´s after the 1st sp, but before the swings...to me, looks like that´s the 1st time they will talk to each other after the 1sp; and I´m still thinking that at this point Castle should be the one breaking up with other:(
    But I´m thinking that there´s already a lot of the episode out with just 2 sp...maybe this episode will end being a lot more than the job thing!

    While I hate the idea of them breaking up makes me want to scream and cry at the same time, I can't help but think that it needs to happen. If she doesn't take the job b/c of Castle, whether it be b/c of a proposal or just an ultimatum, then she'll resent him for it and they will just break up for good later. If she takes it, and goes and finds out that she doesn't like being away B/C of Castle, then she'll come back and things could be EVEN better and EVEN more serious. Still gonna cry when/if it all goes down like that...

    Why wouldn't she smile? She obviously wants to leave, or she wouldn't have taken the job.


    Also, even if she was upset, she'd smile to reassure Ryan and Esposito. You know, to go along with telling them everything is okay.

    Shes not taking the job! shes just afraid of getting hurt because she doesn't know where Castle stands with the relationship, as seen in the squab and the quail; but after seeing the way he reacted when he found out about the other job made her realize, and what she wants to tell him isn't that she did or did not take the job, but that shes pregnant!

    Don't bash me for not being optimistic but what will Kate tell Ryan and Espo .."Hey guys I took an interview and got a job and rejected it to stay with you and Castle"..I dont think so she definitely had something to say .. a decision whatelse can that be..This is the reason people are assuming she's gonna take the job :(

    Possible. Which is why season 6 would be "complicated". Castle would never know for sure whether she's still there because she wants to be, or because the bigger thing she wanted to move to fell through.

    I know what you mean but the end scenes are described as chilling. altho she could take It then change her mind but I think its not the job but the lying and the betrayal I suppose. She forced him to talk about his dreams of jordan car company :/ she isnt returning the favour :/ sorry for rant haha :)

    Beckett has always made choices in her life revolving around her mother's death. She finally let that go last year as she chose to be w/ Castle. Now she's getting encouraged to try a CAREER that is less revolving around her mother's death she figures why not... and Rick didn't exactly answer her question "where are we going". Yes, probably slightly bad time to ask such a question but Rick didn't say anything or even a "we'll talk about it soon" acknowledgement.


    I do think she made a bad choice keeping this away from Rick so poor form on her part. So while the actions were poor, the intent I feel was still genuine in terms of finding more of herself.

    I think maybe Kate changes her mind about the job offer and Castle will convince her to take the job offer. And that'll be the end of them. (I know, sorry feeling blue/thinking the worse about this season finale). Please someone give me some positivity.

    My guess is that she'll take the job but Castle will propose to get her to stay. There's where the cliffhanger will be - whether she says yes to Castle or take the job.


    The new season will start with Kate saying no to Castle (because he's proposing for the wrong reasons) and no the job - because all she wanted to hear from Castle is that they are going somewhere and that's the assurance she needs.


    That's my guess.

    I think she was happy that she GOT the job offer. Doesn't mean she already took it. I mean, if an opportunity of the lifetime comes along and you got it, wouldn't you be happy too? I think the talk would be them discussing whether or not she should take the job.
