So can we assume that since all three pf the shows listed under lowest rated renewed shows are from the cw and that since hart and beauty have been neck and neck in the ratings this year but beauty was listed and not Hart, that hart of Dixie in the end rated higher in average than beauty, making it the fourth most watched show???? Hmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteAll those top new comedies got cancelled...yeah.
ReplyDeletehard to see HTLWYP go!
ReplyDeleteHart of Dixie scored a 0.8.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I know for the longest I've seen comments about them being tied for fourth on the network. It's good to have some sort of definitive answer.
ReplyDeleteHart of dixie highest rating this season was a 0.7 once
ReplyDeletegot cancelled...yeah.
ReplyDeleteI am taking about the average ratings for the season.
ReplyDeletePlease, shut up.
ReplyDeleteYeah I think these average rankings include DVR playback, in which Dixie was getting between .8-1.0 in live+7. Thus the .8(HoD) to the .7(BatB)
ReplyDeleteIs there a way we could have/find arrows, supernaturals and vampire diaries season averages including dvr?
ReplyDeleteare the demo numbers the season averages?
ReplyDeleteI didnt watch it or have any interest in it but I followed the ratings and ABC should have renewed it even if they just kept it as back up.
ReplyDeleteGo On fell like a brick after a promising start, in the end the ratings were awful
ReplyDeleteI think Beauty was actually slightly higher in average demo than HOD
ReplyDeleteIt did not hit a 0.8 once this season, its highest rating was the season premier 0.7 which it then did not hit again all season
ReplyDeleteYes.
ReplyDeleteseason averages for Live viewing- Beauty 0.6 and HOD 0.5
ReplyDeleteTVBTN will release the acurate numbers later this summer
It dropped to a 1.5 with a Modern Family repeat as a lead-in, which was enough for its cancellation.
ReplyDeleteAgain this is with dvr playback factored. Beauty does not do as well in dvr.
ReplyDeleteI was looking of the average with dvr for the aforementioned shows as of this time. The source article on deadline has it.
ReplyDeleteThe Big Bang Theory is a ratings monster according to those numbers!
ReplyDeletebut it also scored a 2.0 without the Modern Family lead-in, it had potential. Stupid ABC for cancelling the highest rated new comedy.
ReplyDeleteGreys Anatomy and NCIS well into season 9 and 10 and still dominating!!! hell yea!
ReplyDeleteit had potential is a new series it`s not expecting to manage to get 2.0 on it`s own so soon and still this past 2 weeks has managed to get that, stupid ABC ¬¬
ReplyDeleteWell, at least Nikita stands out in some regard... :-)
ReplyDeleteSolid work CW.
ReplyDeleteMore people have accidentally watched some of the shows listed than purposely watched Nikita lol.
For all the wrong reasons.
ReplyDeletePerson of interest had more viewership than all shows except the big bang theory .how come gray's and NCIS top it?
ReplyDeleteThat's just not fair
This chart includes DVR+7 data + reruns data for all shows.
ReplyDeleteThey include DVR and reruns. Had only DVR was included without reruns, all shows would've scored better.
ReplyDeleteHow does it bring OUAT up that much then. Even with DVR+7, they were only barely reaching 3.0s for the majority of episodes.
ReplyDeleteThat's not correct. Once started this season with over 4.5 DVR+7 and its live+SD ratings fell below 3.0 only in late January.
ReplyDeleteEven in January\February it had close to 4.0 DVR+7.
It also had only 3 re-runs this entire year.
Factor all these results and 3.6 is the right average.
Also, that's not TVLine's list.. it's everyone's list and the full list is also available for several days now:
http://www.deadline.com/2013/05/tv-season-series-rankings-2013-full-list/
The list is clearly TVLine's because Deadline isn't dividing them out at all, just placing the numbers. So Once is more like 5th.
ReplyDeleteAll lists show Once with 3.6
ReplyDeleteOh dear. Yes, I can see that. However, Tvline's is the only list that is attempting to put Once Upon a Time in the top 3.
ReplyDeleteI don't really care about their list. The point is they reported the right demos for all shows they listed, including Once.
ReplyDeleteI care more about them distorting it so a show they pimp looks like it has done better than it actually has.
ReplyDeleteI know those lists from previous seasons and if you check Deadline's, it includes the number of airings such as 25 for Once and 29 for Arrow when the didn't have as many episodes.
ReplyDeleteOnce Upon a Time aired many more than 3 reruns though.
ReplyDeleteThey only aired 3 re-runs during this year, 2 of them were a couple of months ago, and I think the special was listed as a special and thus wasn't counted.
ReplyDeleteReruns aired this year on January 6th, January 27th, March 2nd, March 9th, March 31st and April 7th.
ReplyDeleteMarch 2nd and 9th are Saturdays. The average of 3.6 is only for airings on Sundays. The Saturdays average have their own category and because of this you'll find shows appearing more than once in the full list.
ReplyDeleteJanuary 6th had a new episode, "The Cricket Game", and didn't have a rerun.
Thus we have exactly 3 reruns - Jan 27th, March 31st, and April 7th. All counted and factored into this average.
I like how this conversation is an example of why these ratings are so meaningless.
ReplyDeleteWhy did you care so much about Once's ratings in the first place then if you found them meaningless?
ReplyDelete... Huh?
ReplyDeleteThose are two separate thoughts, you realize.
No, I don't. The way I see it, 3.6 is as real ratings as the ones you see on a daily basis, since the real ratings are ones we don't see and they are C+3 (how many people saw a certain episode in the last 3 days without skipping its commercials.)
ReplyDeleteWhat does that have to do with these ratings being archaic?
ReplyDeleteThey can't be. Once Upon a Time is listed at 3.6. And it only hit that high once, with the majority of the season in the low 2s.
