Meanwhile, Peacock’s comedy casualties include White House laffer “1600 Penn.” Creator Jon Lovett tweeted: “It’s official. 1600 Penn is a cult classic.”
No surprise, I can see why they went for it they wanted to be in business with Josh Gad after the huge success of Book of Mormon but they created an unfunny show.
Hard to imagine anyone liking this but if you're out there please don't take it personally when I say YAY! It's rare I feel strong dislike over anything but this was just a bad, bad, bad show and as long as P&R comes back I want NBC to clear up as much comedy retail space as possible.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
No surprise there.
