CBS has renewed beleaguered comedy Two and a Half Men for an 11th season -- but there's a catch.
The network and studio Warner Bros. Television are currently working out a deal for young star Angus T. Jones to recur on the Chuck Lorre comedy, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Meanwhile, stars Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer have inked new one-year deals for season 11 and will return to the series as regulars.

Damn, so many renewals today.
ReplyDeleteBut can ABC have early renewals too? They're the only network that hasn't renewed anything yet and it's driving me crazy.
Yeah, it's weird. He seemed to really not wait to get off that show and now settles for recurring. As it has been this season, this show is from top to bottom Two Men. the Half is long gone. But since the show isn't what it used to be for a long time now, they should consider bringing in a new Half.
ReplyDeleteJake could still recur (I forgot he was still on this show this season, really. He's practically not even there but gets paid for every episode anyway) and just have Herb get more screen time. Or some younger character, kind of kid-ish. That would perhaps add some old days taste to the show.
are you a fan of abc modern family ?
ReplyDeleteYes.
ReplyDeleteAnother obvious renewal. I wonder what is going on today. It is the third network to renew shows!
ReplyDeletei really hope it gets renewed i know the raitings are very good but if one or two of the actors wants out then the show may be can, so i hope all the actors will be back.
ReplyDeleteYeah, they'll all be back, especially after they signed new contracts last year.
ReplyDeleteSo CBS, NBC and CW have all renewed some shows today. FOX won't renew Touch nor Cleveland Show, so that only leave ABC! I want so much to see Scandal, OUAT and Revenge renewed!!! I know all of them are sure deals, but damn! It would be sweet to see them all renewed *___*
ReplyDeleteGreat news :D
ReplyDeleteLast year ABC didn't make a single movement until the week before the upfronts and by the looks of it, they are planning to do the same this year.
ReplyDeleteModern Family is one of the most certain renewals on any network. You have absolutely nothing to worry about
ReplyDeleteHe makes good money right? What's wrong with him hating the show? It's stupid and uninspired. If I were an actor and making 300 thou I would work on it but there's no way I'd lie and say I thought it was good if I didn't.
ReplyDeleteYes, CBS, please keep these godawful pieces of crap every season so I have one less network I need to worry about watching. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBecause it's bad form to publicly talk about how immoral your show is and you hate it and want off and then continue to make money off it.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I hate about them ¬¬
ReplyDeleteYeah it is not very pleasant. However, I think they wouldn't most likely renew bubble shows and all the three shows you have mentioned (some of my absolute faves as well, particularly Scandal and Revenge) are far from bubble shows, so we can be sure they will renew them anyway. The only three bubble shows which have been renewed so far, IMO, have been Beauty and the Beast, The Mentalist and the Mindy Project, and I am surprised that all three have been renewed so early on. Especially the mindy project.
ReplyDeleteNot as bad form as walking away from $300,000 for a week of work.
