TVLine has learned exclusively that Steven R. McQueen, whose Jeremy character perished in February at the hands of Katherine, will return to the CW series later this season.
I don't think his return will be permanent. I'm hoping it'll be just long enough for Bonnie to say goodbye and for Elena to get what little closure she can. Of course, that's if it's not Silas pretending to be Jeremy.
I totally agree .. his return would be important for both bonnie and elena .. plus, the return of others .. (I secretly hope Kol does come back for real too).. any ways, this isn't news to me as fans already had some theories going for sometime now & this is one of them that I totally see the writers doing..
I don't know how long his return will last but I do know we have yet to hear about any other role for him and it's been almost four months since they shot Jeremy's death scene. There is still a possibility that he is under contract with TVD for more than just this season.
I have been saying for a while that he will return, Bonnie will bring him back. There were no exit interviews or anything like that for Jeremy's death and we got tones of them for both Alaric and Jenna, it was always quite clear to me that his death was not permanent... Don't know how I feel about this because it feels like they are lowering the stakes, which is something TVD didn't used to do...
Ghost? No. Where'd you get that from? I'm talking about the barrier between the supernatural dead and the living being taken down. That's why Silas needed all those sacrifices and it's what he wanted Bonnie's help with (and what Caroline actually completed).
Not that I remember. Maybe it was a comment I didn't read? Why shouldn't he be? He was supernatural (that is why the ring didn't brought him back) and he's dead. So, where else should he be if not on the other side with the other sups?
Not Jeremy, they were clear he was supernatural and stuff. But Aunt Jenna, I feel like at some point one of the witches or Anna or someone said, she's not on the other side, she was good or innocent or something and had moved on. I could be hallucinating.
Right, Jenna. She was a vampire just for minutes, before Klaus killed her, so it would make sense.
And you're not hallucinating. If I remember correctly, it was Anna in S3 who said that. I think it was the ep when all the ghosts returned (including grams and the tomb vamps).
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Hardly anybody stays dead on this show.
ReplyDeleteCan he return alive? Pretty please?
ReplyDeleteUgh.

ReplyDeleteI think it won't be Sil-emy (Silas/Jeremy)...
ReplyDeletepfffffffffffffff this serie is boring
ReplyDelete@disqus_opxtskU4WH:disqus Then why watch and comment on it?
ReplyDeletefirst, try to write correctly... there is no serie, it's series :)
ReplyDeleteI'd rather Vicki returned.
ReplyDeleteI know right?!? PLEASE?!? :D

ReplyDeleteThat's entirely possible and will be quite disappointing to me if it's true.

ReplyDeleteSo I guess Jeremy will be the one who makes Elena switch back her humanity.
ReplyDeleteGod, this show is so predictable.
ReplyDeletewhat other role?
ReplyDeleteplease, bring back Alaric.. Cult is SH*T... there is no season 2 for Cult :D
ReplyDeleteExactly. This is getting ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteYou mean as a ghost? Matt can see ghosts. Vamps can't.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking on Silas pretending to be Jer too.
Boring? Not really. I prefer ridiculous. Sometimes it is getting ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteAnd Anna and Jenna and Rick
ReplyDeleteThat was the point, he has no other role yet and there has been an entire pilot season in which he could have gotten a new role by now.

ReplyDeleteYou said that you think he will return for a short time, just to say goodbye, so I thought you think ghosts.
ReplyDeleteIf the veil is torn and all the sups come back, why didn't they also mentioned Jenna and Anna or Vicky and Alaric. They were all vamps when they died.
Don't get me wrong, I would be glad if some of the characters could return.
Ah, I guess my post was poorly worded then. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteDidn't someone at some point say that Jenna wasn't on the "other side"?

Esther said that! she said jenna stayed pure and moved on
