Please tell me they aren't going to decide they need to 'frighten' Elena back into who she was before. Please tell me they aren't going to fixate on her fears and try to crush her into who they think she needs to be through pain and victimisation. The very things that Elena has tried to escape from and in a twisted way, finally succeeded by switching off her humanity.
Please tell me the narrative isn't calling for the main female character to be 'saved' through enduring pain and humiliation. Please, please, please. I have a very strange relationship with you, Vampire Diaries. Please make it a lasting one.
It's just...female characters, when they're put through pain on the torture level, well it tends to be sensationlised on television. Heck, in movies too. I just don't want to see it done here as well.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
hope we get more photos .. no Care, Bonnie or Katherine? weird!
ReplyDeleteIt's about time they tried this instead of letting boring vamp Elena run around controlling them all
ReplyDeleteOh wow, they're finally torturing this new bitchtastic (yes, I made my post a new word...XD) Elena. This should be good XD
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Lexi program. Poor Elena.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be fun :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that we need 4 pictures of the same thing. I wish there was more variety.
