    I love Caroline and Bonnie's friendship. I wish we got to see more of it. They seem a lot more closer than Elena/Bonnie or Caroline/Elena, that's just me. Elena caused Bonnie so much grief but time and time again she puts her life on the line to save her. I just don't get it. No doubt she'll try to help Elena get to her old self.

    I think Caroline and Elena have been drifting apart for a while (and Caroline has remained friends with Bonnie & Matt and become better friends with Stefan) and with recent events (Elena hurting her mother, trying to kill her, etc...) I think this could be the nail in the coffin.

    Personally I prefer the Caroline/Bonnie friendship to Caroline/Elena or Bonnie/Elena so called friendships.

    In season one they were not close at all imo, Caroline was always competing with her and then all of a sudden in season two, they kept referring to each other as 'best friends' etc despite there being not a lot of interaction between them. I don't see them 'falling out' being such a big deal since they're not that close to begin with. I just hope Caroline kicks her ass at prom.

    Bonnie is too often misused and separated from much of the cast for extended periods of time. Not only would I like to see more Caroline / Bonnie stuff (not much of that since Bonnie's mother was turned) but Bonnie should have more scenes with Damon & Elena as well.

    It's a writing problem. I like Elena but I dislike the two-demensional extremes to which she is too often written. They either write her as a helpless, nagging, wet blanket or they write her as reckless, dangerous, and bitchy.


    For a couple of episodes during the sire bond mess, TVD wrote her as strong, decisive, and self-assured and then they completely wrecked it. Big mistake.

    maybe the reason bonnie doesn't have many scenes with them any more is because katerina graham does not get along with some of the cast members.

    She was constantly being taken for a fool (by stefan and sometimes damon and bonnie they kept lying or withholding the truth from her.
    or throughout seasons 2 she was just stefan little puppet ..so annoying .
    now however i like her for the first time - maybe cos she not taking crap from stefan/damon/bonnie anymore .
    i cant understand why everyone hatees elena all of a sudden but i assume they are part of the shipper crowd .

    That doesn't mean there wasn't anything left and, even if there wasn't much of anything left, it's not unheard of for a family to buy a plot and a headstone without a body or an urn to bury.
