  2. If it is the intention to make their lead character look like a damn fool, they surely have accomplished that!!! Well done!!!

  3. So much for the "GOOD" wife... Makes Peter promise to never put her through that again and now she is about to do the same thing. Kinda ruins her character and her whole morality if you ask me. If she wants to be with Will, fine, but then DO IT. Don't agree to recommit to your husband and then turn around a few days later and act like you're "trapped"

  4. The beauty of the title "The Good Wife" is that it can be taken many different ways. Literally, ironically, etc, depending on where they want to take the story and Alicia.

  5. well she just seemed so sincere, even in her interview with Charlie Rose, standing up for her husband, and their marriage, and their family. Then of course later agreeing to re-commit to Peter, then next thing you know she turns around and is making out with Will?! Really Alicia? They're doing her character a disservice if you ask me, that's all. She's being knocked off that moral pedestal she was placed on since the beginning of the show and it's sad. Though it's rather interesting to see the show come around full circle, now Alicia is the cheater... Not sure where this is going, but call me a sucker cuz I'm sticking around to find out and so the show-runners have won, lol

  6. YAY!!! Will/Alicia! If you ask me, she's better off with Will than with Peter. Peter's a cheater, and no matter what he's always going to be one, always going to be tempted. If he can do it once, he can do it again. I know people like to say that Alicia is also a cheater, but her infidelities came after and while her marriage was broken, way after Peter betrayed her trust.

  7. well, let's wait until we actually SEE the episode. this could very well be one of the last scenes of the season. many things could happen before it!

In my opinion, Peter has flaws in the past, but Will Gardner is not better than Peter. Because:
1.Will is a dirty threesome sex player, he started doing these disgusting things with his first female boss named Celesta and another womanin in his first job in Baltimore. He himself admitted it delightfully and proudly when he talked to Celesta and Peter (season 3, episode 4) .
2.Will is a thief, he had ever stolen 45,000 dollars from the Baltimore law firm and he admitted by himself(season3,episode 15), But Celesta, his female boss, did not sue him because of his threesome sex relation with her. Once a thief, always a thief, it is his nature.
3.Will is a guy who cares about nothing except for money without any bottom line of ethics or morality. He ignored Diane objection, and insisted on introducing Sweeney (wife killer) and Bishop(drug dealer, and witness killer) business into the law firm, even more, he forced Alicia to defend these bad guys.(season1, episode16). Hookers just sell their bodies for money, but Will trades his soul for money.
4.Will is a person who would never be serious and committed to any relationship with any woman he sleeps with. That is why he had various women in his life and is still a bachelor in his 40s’ . During the half-year period of sexual relation with Alicia (Season 3), he never showed Alicia any plan for their future even though Alicia had ever asked him for“show me your plan” on the phone at Peter press conference(season1, Episode 23). He never showed any intention to get married to Alicia, not even said anything seriously like “I love you” to her. The only thing he showed Alicia was the overdoing sex. So his relation with Alicia can be defined as“great talk, lots of fun, great sex, but none obligation and commitment”,not any committed long-term one.
Peter has suffered from the severe punishment, including 10-month imprisonment,step-down from public office, and a wife who is committed to their marriage by having whole lot of sex with Will. Peter deserved that! But Will is still at large. The word “scoundel” mentioned by Supreme Count chief justice might be a hint that it is Will's turn to face the consequnce and penalty in the upcoming season 5.

please, tell me that my eyes don´t lie! because if not, right now I´m happy dancing

  11. A few corrections. Will did had every intention of showing Alicia 'his plan'. She never got the phone message! And he did say 'I love you' to her. Granted, it seemed like a slip of the tongue, but I think he was more comitted to their relationship than Alicia was! He has said to Alicia 'I like myself around you'. He thinks he is a better person with her, he doesn't want to be the soulless lawyer for the rest of his life. For him their relationship was genuine, for her it was... rebellion. And how could he show an intention to marry her when she was still married?? She has children, it's not that simple...

  12. I agree. Besides, I think that if they intended to have a Willicia happily ever after, they wouldn't show us that in the promo! They would show us her making out with Peter! And this might just be yet another one of Alicia's steamy dreams...

  13. THEY WERE ON A BREAK!

    Oops, wrong show.

  14. true. Doesn't "feel" like a fantasy though, because of the setting. How do they end up in the same car though?

  15. itmatters itmatters22 April 2013 at 13:08

    Sorry, willicia_fan21, I don't agree with you.
1.You said "Will had an intention to show Alicia plan, but she did't not get the phone message." Do you mean the plan only could be shown by phone or message? Will Garder has slept with Alicia as long as half a year(in office bathroom, in elevator,in Alicia apartment, in hotel....almost everywhere" with overdoing sex, but he just hadn't got any minute to talk about the plan Alicia valued most? Do you believe it ?Could you justify Will's irresponsible no-plan behaviour by blaming Alicia not receiving the message? How ridiculous it is.
    2. Why Alicia asked Will to "show me your plan" is just because she is married, she has family and kids, so she wants Will to help her find a soution to remove these obstacles and hurdles. In order to do that, Will should have shown his true love by asking her to divorce Peter and marry
Alicia. Will should have given Alicia a new family and shoulder the responsibilities to help educate and raise Alicia's kids, who means the whole world to her. But Will just did nothing except overdoing sex. Alicia is not younger girl, and is getting older, she can't afford to be fooled around and hurted anymore. Who is Alicia supposed to be in his mind, a sex slave? a free hooker? What did Will want to end up with Alicia, just dump her when he gets tired of her?
3.i don't think that "I like myself around you' means any true love. Peter might have said the same thing to Amber (the hooker), but i don't think Peter loved Amber, actually, it was just sex, nothing but sex.Love means long-term commitments, obligations, responsiblity, and willingness to sacrifice for her/him and any thing that matters most, not just sex. Maybe I am wrong, but how is "love" defined in most people minds, especial for Alicia/Will team?
4."Will doesn't want to be the soulless lawyer for the rest of his life." Really? Is there any indication or proof to support your argument in the drama in any episode? Did Will give up the dirty business representing Sweedny(wife and witness killer) and Bishop(drug dealer)? in which episode? I can say that Will is never ever going to do that because of money, the dirty money covered with blood.
    5. Alicia used to love Peter, that was why she married Peter rather than Will. When she was in George town, Alicia was single and had no kids, but she didn't choose Will becasue she didn't love Will at that time. After 15 years of marriage, Her the passion to peter faded out. Will is younger (than Peter), new and energetic sexully, it is understandable she is attracted to him sexually. In fact, I do care who Alicia would choose, either Peter or Will, but I hope that the relation should be a serious and committed one, no more affair in the dark, no more underground adultery. You make a decision, you will face the consequence. You play fire, you will get burnt.

  16. Yeah, the same exact thing, she is screwing Will, the hooker, not having doubts about whether to stay with her husband or with the guy she's been on and off of love with ever since college.
Please, no problem at all if you support Peter and want her to be with him, but this argument is just ridiculous.

  17. What do you do, Alicia? You choose Will, that's what you do. If anything, the story will be WAY more interesting and they will have new issues to explore for the coming seasons. If she chooses Peter, what is left there for the writers to do? They renew their vows, she opens a new firm with Cary, her kids grow up, Peter runs for something else. It could be interesting, had we not seen that once. They need a change of pace, Alicia being with Will gives them that.

  18. Are we trusting Veronica as an honest and accurate source of information now?

    ReplyDelete
  19. What argument is ridiculous? Cheating is cheating, no matter who it's with. I wouldn't say she cheated before because they were separated, and even during s1 their marriage was in very unstable ground, but to accept a proposal and then hook up with Will almost immediately afterwards does constitute cheating. I'm not saying her sins are greater (or even the same) as his, or vice-versa, but I am saying now they're both responsible for hurting the other. She made him promise not to betray her trust again and now she will betray his so really, how is it different? Regardless of who did it first or with who.

  20. Peter slept with at least one hooker, while all we know Alicia did is kiss Will. We also know that, if she does choose Will, Peter will know about that, she won't go behind his back, have a secret affair with the man and simultaneously renew her vows, keeping him in the dark.

Is she cheating? She probably is, because it looks like she kisses Will before breaking off with Peter, but she is not destroying her family (which Peter did), she is choosing not to start over and instead go for a different path and a different man.

Just because it hurts him, doesn't mean it's equivalent to what he did to her. In my book, it is VERY different.

  21. Hahaha...your points are ridiculous, I don't even know where to begin. Will had a threesome and now he is not husband worthy! WOW...apparently Alicia LOVE whatever he does with his oversexed azz, cause that's all she's been dreaming about lately.
I hope they give the Alicia and Will a chance at real OPEN and LOVING relationship. Their connection has been there since season 1.

  22. YAY! I was sooo sad that she said Yes to Peter but now... Everyhing can happen!!

I have no doubt that Alicia would have great sex with Will currently. What i am worried about is what Alicia would do some day when she wakes up after sex with Will, finding Will is screwing other girl in the bed just beside her! What a threesome view! Will becomes second Peter. Is that what you would like to see?
If Will is husband worthy, why didn't Alicia marry him when they were in Geroge Town, she married peter. If Will is husband worthy, why didn't Alicia divorce Peter and marry him in sesaon 3?Whose point is ridiculous?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Unfortunately, judging by the "I'm with Peter now" line, it seems that she will renew her vows with Peter, and he will probably win the election thanks to her. But I have a feeling that right afterwards she will get back together with Will (well, I hope!). Perhaps next season word will get out and she'll go from being "St. Alicia" to "a very bad girl". :)
In any case, her kids are almost grown up, she'll probably leave Lockheart/Gardner and start her own firm with Cary, so why shouldn't she be with the man she loves and can truly trust? :)

  25. Maybe the reason was a pregnancy

    ReplyDelete
  26. Then we can talk again. But nothing so far has suggested that will happen, very much the other way around. Robert King said "she will choose between Will and Peter" and this seems very clear: she will choose one OR the other, not both.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Please, Alicia and Will as long term thing, not as fling or as tool to foster her relationship with Peter any longer. Looking forward for the finale!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I actually could see them going that route!

  29. itmatters itmatters24 April 2013 at 13:07

yes, everything can happen. Maybe a few weeks/months later, Alicia would get back to Peter again, who knows? She will never find it difficult to change her mind very quickly, she has been going between Peter and Will for quite a long time, back and forth, up and down, never ends. Very Intersting.

That extended promo almost makes the car scene look like another one of Alicia's dreams. Kind of random for Diane to just be there in the road watching them...

    ReplyDelete
  31. That's what I thought at first, but according to the press release "Alicia, Will and Diane race to emergency court proceedings when Zach believes he’s witnessed vote tampering", so it could be happening in reality. :)
I bet Diane won't be too happy to see Alicia and Will together again. It could certainly jeopardize her plans for the Supreme Court election.
