05/13/2013 (10:01PM - 11:00PM) (Monday) : AS ACTION HEIGHTENS, SO DOES ROMANCE AMONG THE CORE REBELS-Romantic connections heat up between two couples -- Miles (Billy Burke) and Nora (Daniella Alonso) and Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Jason (JD Pardo) -- but disastrous drone strikes from the Militia threaten them all. An assassination attempt on Monroe (David Lyons) heightens his paranoia and Georgia Federation President Foster (guest star Leslie Hope) contemplates surrender. Meanwhile, Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Aaron (Zak Orth) push through the Plains Nation into Colorado.
Also starting Giancarlo Esposito, Mark Pellegrino

ReplyDeleteI agree I do not see any chemistry between Miles and Nora at all. I would prefer the show not burden the characters with these romance story lines, but if they really feel the need I would prefer Miles and Rachel, at least they have chemistry.

ReplyDeleteI think she has positive things to offer Miles. I can see the attraction, even though I think Rachel and Miles have more in common/similar personality traits. However, I still think Nora is going to get hurt/die before the season ends and so it makes sense, especially if Monroe kills Emma or she dies as a result of their confrontation, that Miles might cling to Nora, since she is the one who is "there" right now. (Plus Rachel made everyone think she's going to die at the Tower)

ReplyDeleteI didn't take what Rachel said too seriously,i thought she was just trying to prepare Charlie in case it happened,but i didn't think she actually meant it....that changes everything,no wonder they are getting Nora and Miles together..I still think if another character is going it would be her and not Rachel,but who knows?

No I agree with you that Rachel's death is a red herring (and this situation with "The Tower" might juxtapose Juliet and "The Incident".) That's why I think it could be Nora and this love connection might mirror what ever happens with Emma, and thus play to Nora's final send off, but I guess we'll see (I would surely settle for an injury and/or possibility that "we" think she's dead, but actually isn't)

We'll think Rachel will die, then she'll pop up next mid season if the show gets a second season that is.

ReplyDeleteThat's too bad, but I understand, my one computer is like 8 yrs old, has been fixed twice in three yrs, and had the motherboard replaced, and often overheats! We'll catch up soon! take it easy (and happy Sunday night TV viewing!)

ReplyDeleteI think we all figured on Charlie and Jason but i don't know about Miles and Nora, never saw them that way,never even got a hint of it,even when they kissed.
