5 votes for awful = 5 sacrifices for Odin.... there's obviously something wrong with them and would be totally useless on a raid so may as well make use of them appeasing the gods!
Lagertha and Ragnar were always destined to break up as that's precisely what happened to them in the original mythos that Vikings is based on. The original canon demands their marriage to be over, they can't just ignore it.
After he became Earl I knew he would cheat at some point but this new character is so bland and the actress is terrible. I don't mind if they bring more wives as long as Lagertha stays around.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Really? They couldn't have found a more compelling storyline than setting up a love triangle and breaking Ragnar and Lagertha up?
ReplyDeleteAlso, given the age of Bjorn and Gyda, Ragnar's sudden mania for more sons was not particularly well-developed through the series.
Blech.
given that he does wed someone else after lagertha love triangle is likely, also has more then 1 son so that's likely too.
