The dance was great. I'm just shocked that no one actually died. Just almost. But still everyone survived, which is rare for a MF dance. Throwing footballs for 150 years till Elena turns her humanity back on? Sounds like a plan. It's not like they have anything better to do. And if she kills again, they can move on to plan B. I like plan B. I'm just not sure plan C would work. Make her life a living hell surely won't convince her to get her emotions back and be even more vulnerable. At least Becca gets it. Giving in to Silas means bringing back every supernatural creature dying in the last 2000 years and more. And it's great that Klaus tries to use his dead brothers to convince Elijah, but he should remember his dear parents. They both want him dead. And what about the thousands and ten thousands of vamps, weres and witches he killed? They would all love to get a piece of him I imagine. "Tell me you're not fating me to an eternity of torture" Oh, I would love to see that. It's exactly what he deserves. I love Elijah. He's the smartest and the more rational one of the family. Becca was really hurt by what Matt said. And I know I should feel sorry for her. But he did have a point. On the other side: a human Becca can hardly do any damage, compared to vampire Becca. But I appreciate that she saved April. "Don't eat the prom queen" Damon is so funny. I love him You've got to be kidding me!!! Of all people Caroline goes to Klaus? Good that she forgot that he almost killed her. Several times. That he killed her friends for fun. Chased away her boyfriends she missed at most today (the one dance can't be compared to the prom). She's such a hypocrite. I hate her. She was a great character. Now I just hate her. How stupid is Bonnie? After all that happened, she still lets Silas manipulate her. And she should have learned by now that whenever Shane or Silas are involved something bad happens. Mostly to the people she loves.
I love seeing Jeremy again but I hope this is not the last time we see him. I was thinking he was going to be a big part in Elena switch. Or I would not mind either if Elena was human again. I kinda miss that. Can't wait for next week
I loved this episode. The whole Silas being anyone is great cause honestly I don't any one of the characters anymore cause I go to think that's Silas. The whole Elena and no emotions is getting good. I do have a feeling however that her and Silas actually might team up just so she does not get the cure. Bonnie was good tonight. I just think either she rally did lose her memory or its just an act and she will try to get rid of Silas on her own. Caroline and Klaus storyline is getting on my nerves I do not want them together. Tyler coming back was so sweet and cute. Over all an awesome episode.
Of course I know he didn't forget. Not literally. He just didn't mention their parents. Like he forgot to mention all the vamps, weres, witches, even hybrids, he killed. He used their brothers to convince Elijah, everyone knows that. "A twisted form of caring" I think it was more that she felt guilty. She was on the other side for 1000 years and had to watch, what monsters her children have become (especially Klaus). She knew that she was responsible for everything, cause she turned them. She wanted to kill all vamps to set things right. Guess I would have done the same. But I don't think she's strong or skilled enough to do something against Silas. Love you for that! It's rare that people agree with me when it comes to Klaus and Damon. And Caroline. Every time I mention it they all go like "But what Damon did was horrible". And I always say yes, but nothing compared to what Klaus did. And still does. And it doesn't even help if I remind them that Damon compared to Klaus) changed. I think JP completely ruined Carolines character. And for what? A one night stand with Klaus? I mean, even if they end up in bed (if there is a God, please don't let it happen), it's not like this is ever gonna work. And not just because he's living. Finally. "For sake of the plot"? Yeah you're probably right. I mean, I remember how Bonnie was in S1 and 2. All against vamps and weres, all about protecting humans. And now she really plans on releasing maybe millions of sups on mankind? Makes sense only in the weird world of JP. So you think she'll remove the veil and restore it? Even if, the returned sups would all either stay, or all go back. Of course there is a loophole. There always is. But I just don't think the Lexi therapy would work on her. Mostly the vamps turn their humanity off, because of some guilt they feel. They feel guilty, so they turn it off so they can go on killing. But Elena didn't felt guilt. She was breaking apart, literally. The pain of losing every person she loved and knew was just too much. It was killing her. So I think, letting her suffer more won't do it. Remember the pictures on the path and the dance with Stefan. She denied it, but something within her was moving. She felt something. That is the right way for her. To remind her on the good days, not the suffering. Of course she felt fear today. But it has not much to do with human emotions, but with survival. Like the flight or fight instinct. The simple instinct or need to survive.
Well from what I understand on the synopsis of "The Walking Dead" episode, it will be like in s3 with the ghosts. Only every Supernatural creature. The veil seems to be covering a kind of parallel "dimension" so to speak. I dunno what else to call it. It's almost like the "ghost world for supernatural people" is on the normal world but is invisible and intangible to the living when the veil is there. Though only intangible to the other side.
Let's all applaud Bonnie for doing to Elena what we have mentally been trying to do to her since her humanity switch turned off..heck even since the beginning of time (just kidding about this part)
At the start of Season 1 Damon just treated Caroline horribly and used her like a toy, he fed on her and erased her memories and compelled her to do who knows what. I can see why she holds resentment towards Damon. Klaus does treat her a lot better that Damon ever did and I think she now knows that Klaus does care about her and that he doesn't want to hurt her. He could compel her and use her like Damon did - but he doesn't.
Yes, I see it as you do (ghost world for supernatural people). But if Bonnie brings down the veil and they return, I don't think they will be ghosts. Silas says he will bring them back from the dead. As I understand it, he means they will be alive and back, in flesh and blood so to speak. Of course I can be wrong. Silas can be lying just to get what he wants. But mostly, what he said, was the truth. If we say we believe him, the sups should come back to live. Or maybe they will be back for a couple of moments, before they move on to the other side or the after world or whatever you wanna call it. Seriously, I don’t' know. See, that is what I don't like on this show. Where we're headed. Since S1 we always had room for speculations. But in S1 and 2 it made sense. We had rules and some logic we could follow. It made sense and it was fun. But now, most things don't make sense. JP changes rules as she pleases. And since we don't know what's going on in her head, it's mostly useless to speculate.
O.K., true. Damon fed on her, treated her like shit, raped her, used her to get to Elena, compelled her as he pleased, … As I said 100 times before, what he did was horrible and wrong. And I don't defend him. And of course she has every right to be mad at him. But what about Klaus? He tried to kill her. 3 times, maybe more? He wanted her for the ritual. He ordered Tyler to bite her and kill her. In the Gilbert house he bit her and she almost died, so he (Klaus) could hurt Tyler. And what about the other things he did? Does the name Jenna say anything to you? Or Carol? What about what he did to Elena? Klaus killed Carolines friends, people she knew her whole life. And why? Cause he was bored. And to make a point. "Klaus does treat her a lot better" Cause he wants her in his bed. Don't ask me why he isn't simply compelling her. He says he has feelings for Caroline? Then how can he kill her just to hurt someone else? A weird way to show her that he loves her. Or cares for her. "Klaus does treat her a lot better" Why? Cause he gives her jewels and pretty dresses? If Caroline is willing to ignore or forget the pile of corpses on Klaus path cause he gives her expensive gifts she's a bigger hypocrite than I thought. And another word for her is in my mind now, but I don't think it's proper to bring it up, unless you want me to. If you're on her side maybe I should test you. Maybe I should kill you best friend and chase away your boyfriend. If I then give you a diamond bracelet (or would you prefer a necklace?) we're gonna be friends, right? At least Damon changed. He sees this people as his friends now. Even Caroline. He risked his life to help them, to protect them. And what did Klaus do? Threatening and killing her friends. Damon did horrible things, yes. But even at his worst he had his limits. Example? I don’t' think that Damon would have wiped out the entire Petrova family just because Katerina got away. Just because Klaus treats Caroline nicely (sometimes), it doesn’t mean he's a good person. Or good enough.
Since SIlas was being everyone this episode, did anyone feel like he was Tyler at first? I certainly did but when Klaus/Tyler faced off, I realised it wasn't just a fake and I got so many Forwood feels!!
Of course I know he didn't forget. Not literally. He just didn't mention their parents. Like he forgot to mention all the vamps, weres, witches, even hybrids, he killed. He used their brothers to convince Elijah, everyone knows that.

ok after rewinding the dvr about four times.. it looked to me that when Elena bit Bonnie on the neck... that vamp bite healed... and that was strange.... I don't know if anyone else caught that....
That's the problem when shows run for years. They start out with a mythos that is consistent but then little changes get in there over time. Not that it's any excuse. But I figure that's what's going on. Well, that and she just thinks something will be cool so she goes with it despite it being against pre-established stuff.
Caroline and Bonnie especially lol. I don't think Klaus and Caroline are going to end up together or in a one night stand. At least I hope not. I figure if anything, Silas will be messing with Klaus. Making him believe Caroline wants him with some mind trick. That would be about the only way I see them both being "in bed" together. But then again with the way Caroline has been acting, Silas may not need to make a mind trick Caroline for them to be in bed. lol.
But he will be out of town for The Originals. So there's that.
Exactly! Somethingpops up in her mind and she does it, no matter if it makes sense or not. I somewhere refered to Buffy and Star Wars. Now I can go back to that. GL and JW knew what they were doing. Why? Before they started writing the story, they made rules about planets, spaceships, vamps, demons, … That is why the same rules worked for all the SW movies and Buffy always made sense. Even if JW changed the rules, it made sense at the end (okay, maybe not in the last ep, when Will made all potentials to slayers). That was the part JP missed. Setting the rules before she started filming. It's visible with the originals. The sun burns them but it doesn’t kill them? And how can they survive if you take their head? Why the dagger isn't working on Klaus (wolf my ass. The daggers are of silver, aren't they?)? It's also clear with the Salvatore past. In S1 they hated each other. It was clear that Damon tried to kill Stefan or make his life hell (like in the books) for the past 150 years. But in S3 and 4 we got flashbacks, where the brothers tried to bond and come together again several times. Silas messing with Klaus head? Hm. Never thought of that. I hope so. Better than her really sleeping with him. I'm telling you, if JP hooks them up, I'll probably stop watching. I'm willing to ignore most of the ridiculous things she throws at us, but this would cross the line. I also considered to accept it if Klaus would compel her or blackmail her to sleep with him (which is what he usually does). But not if she does it freely.
Well to be fair, silver is not a weakness of werewolves in TVD. It never has been. I think Mason said that werewolves even started that myth because I recall Damon trying to use it and Mason being fine.
I kind of wondered about the whole killing Originals thing too. I mean, I guess you could say "It's magic so it can be whatever they say". But Elijah keeps stating the only thing that can kill an original is that stake doesn't he? Maybe that would just incapacitate them? I can't imagine them like...growing a new head or something.. But if it DOESN'T kill them, I'd imagine lobbing their heads off and then disposing of them would work in a conventional sense. But if it were that easy, then I suspect Mikael would have done that rather than bring the stake with him. That's another example of them not being clear. It's certainly something that should be asked. lol. But then again, wasn't Elijah going to rip Klaus's heart out at the end of season 2? Presumably to kill him. Since Klaus was bargaining and such. But then Elijah goes around saying stuff. I don't know lol.
I'm inclined to believe beheading and taking out their hearts work just fine as a means to killing them. Just like how a hybrid would die. Given season 2's finale. But the problem with it is, you had Elijah at the beginning of that season pulling that pole out of his heart. Which logically should have destroyed the heart impalement style, and he just seemed kind of pissed off. Maybe it would kill them. But not permanently?
Of course it is magic. But even magic follows some rules. Exactly. It doesn’t make sense. If only the white oak stake kills them, what if you take their head? It doesn’t grow back, right? And if you burry the body in one place and the head far way in another grave? Will the body dig itself out and take a walk to find the head? It bothers me, cause I several times suggested to rip Klaus into pieces and bury the parts separate. Like the Judge in Buffy S2. I can't remember Elijah mentioning how he intended to kill Klaus. If I remember correctly he said something about Klaus being weakest (or vulnerable) during the ritual. I have no idea why the originals are so different than "normal" vampires. Probably because of the spell. That is maybe the reason why destroying the heart isn't killing them. But I still can't understand why taking their heads don't kill them. "Maybe it would kill them. But not permanently?" Well, in that case it's the perfect solution. Take Klaus head. Put his body in a reinforced coffin and burry it deep (and maybe seal the grave with cement or even better, a spell) and put his head in a reinforced box and burry it on another continent (again sealing it with a spell) or throw it in the ocean, where it is at its deepest. He's out for good and if the dead isn't final the vamps in his bloodline won't die. But knowing JP she would let Klaus grow another head and let him dig himself thru the entire planet just to bring him back. Yes, this problem with killing originals seems to me like another way for her to make sure they stay on the show, if we like it or not. First, a stake doesn't kill them. Neither do sun or fire. Then, not even taking their heads would seem to work. The daggers were a good way to knock them out. But JP made sure that for some reason (known only to her) it doesn’t work on Klaus. And then she came up with the idea, killing an original kills all vamps in their bloodline. And on top of that, from all the originals it was Klaus who created the MF bloodline. Seems to me like she wanted to make 1000% sure Klaus stays at any cost.

ReplyDeleteKat nailed this performance and the queen has conquered <3 Elena has got what was coming for her by none other than Bonnie Bennett .. *___*
When will Klaroline happen?
ReplyDeleteoh man! Silas is one ugly son of a bitch!
ReplyDeletei really dont like elena like this. i understand its a transition to the new chapter but does anyone know when shell be back?

The sun burns them but it doesn’t kill
ReplyDeletethem? And how can they survive if you take their head? Why the dagger isn't working on Klaus (wolf my ass. The daggers are of silver, aren't they?)? It's also clear with the Salvatore past. In S1 they hated each other. It was clear that Damon tried to kill Stefan or make his life hell (like in the books) for the past 150 years. But in S3 and 4 we got flashbacks, where the brothers tried to bond and come together again several times.
Silas messing with Klaus head? Hm. Never thought of that. I hope so. Better than her
really sleeping with him.
I just realized: "Dont eat the prom queen" and she did (kind of)!
ReplyDeleteWell to be fair, silver is not a weakness of werewolves in TVD. It never has been. I think Mason said that werewolves even started that myth because I recall Damon trying to use it and Mason being fine.
ReplyDeleteI kind of wondered about the whole killing Originals thing too.
ReplyDeleteExactly. It doesn’t make sense. If only the white oak stake kills them, what if you take
their head? It doesn’t grow back, right? And if you burry the body in one place and the head far way in another grave? Will the body dig itself out and take a walk to find the head? It bothers me, cause I several times suggested to rip Klaus into pieces and bury the parts separate. Like the Judge in Buffy S2.
I can't remember Elijah mentioning how he intended to kill Klaus. If I remember correctly he said something about Klaus being weakest (or vulnerable) during the ritual.
I have no idea why the originals are so different than "normal" vampires. Probably
because of the spell. He's out for good and if the dead isn't final the vamps in his
bloodline won't die. But knowing JP she would let Klaus grow another head and let him dig himself thru the entire planet just to bring him back.
Yes, this problem with killing originals seems to me like another way for her to make
sure they stay on the show, if we like it or not.
I thought for sure he was Sillas at first, I was only convinced when he faced of Klaus at the end
