Yeah, I like the Lydia/Russell dynamic and the Sammy and Ben thing needed to happen. I was so crestfallen when Cooper's ex-wife said she didn't want to have a baby with him anymore.
We have to have another season. With Cooper alive. It has to happen.
Yet another satisfyingly awesome ep for this wonderful show..... that ending..... OMG wtf????? you had to know that the Ben/Sammy thing was coming and had so much grey that you could see both sides.... Loved Lydia and Ruben taking on the glory hounds of RHD for the greater good.... I truly hope that this show gets another season and that Cooper is part of it.... only time will tell
Good ending. I think Cooper's time had already come, after all what he has gone through. He got fed up by everything that had been going in his life and tried to end his life in purpose. Now folks, this kind of things happen in real life.
I like Lydia and Russell and I'm glad they're back together. They always had good chemistry. Its nice to see they ended up a little bit closer but still together as they were from the beginning of the show. I like Ruben too, and he has the potential of becoming a successful police officer.
The Ben and Sammy dynamic had already been brewed up, it just needed a release. I like Ben, but I agree with Sammy that he has become selfish, in contrast with how Nate Moretta was.
That ending. Jesus that ending. I mean if it is the last we see of this show what a way to end it but if it gets a S6 well we didn't see Cooper close his eyes and actually die so I imagine he could be alive and S6 could be his chance to rise again.
Hands down, the best/most realistic cop show on television. If this were a season finale, or (the possibly) series finale, the ending was perfect. Things don't get tied up neatly with a bow in real life, and they won't here in SouthLAnd either. Bravo. Bravo.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Wow. Glad Sammy and Ben finally had it. Lydia and Russell are cute.
ReplyDeleteBUT WHAT THE FUCK WAS THE ENDING. WHO THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA? NOOOOO, JOHN. DON'T CANCEL THE SHOW NOW. I NEED A SIXTH SEASON.

Yeah, the ex-wife saying she didn't want a baby with him anymore was so rude. (And I think it's sweet that he still refers to her as his wife)
ReplyDeleteI think Cooper's going to be dead next season if there is one, and that sucks, because he's one of the few characters I actually like.

what a twist of irony huh.. if John were to die after this, he died through the hands of a fellow police officer. tragic irony.
ReplyDeleteto survive the assault of a criminal only to be killed by a fellow brother in blue
