I never really cared too much about this show but by the end of the past few episodes I find myself desperately needing there to be more. I even watched this episode before I watched Parks and Rec, which is a pretty big deal for me.
My DVR cut off before it ended!!! I nearly threw my remote through the tv. It ended with Jess and nick staring at each other outside their rooms. Someone, please tell me what happened after that!!!!
For me the best scenes were those where Winston suggested Nick's a male escort and proposed to kill Jess with a knife, and those with the cop and fines... Poor Nick :))))
That's typical for a sitcom... On a bright side Jess and Nick's relationship developed quite a bit over the past couple of episodes, so that's always a good sign... Plus they need to save something for the season finale, don't they :)))
I see it coming and it wont be funny..............too much pressure to couple Jess and Nick and although they will be cute together ...........it was way too soon.........please don't ruin one of the funniest shows on TV ...when the 3 guys are together they are hysterical.......enter Jess........hmmmm I love Zooey but I prefer them to all be friends.........this Nick and Jess thing will spell trouble in the end...I like them to all get in trouble get each other out of trouble etc etc........I am tiring of Jess and Nick staring into one anothers faces like DUHHHH and the hand on the breast ....please please please enough! They go from serious to buffoonish and the ride is not fun............thank goodness for Winston and Schmidt (minus Cece) those two guys deliver laughs ....last night would have been boring if it were not for them.
I'm kinda torn about the whole Nick/Jess thing. Most of the time I want them to get together, but sometimes I think it will be weird. Like when they kiss, I think it's so cute and I want them to kiss all the time, but when, for example, Nick said to her a few episodes back "Take off your clothes right now!" it felt soooooo weird to me, I can't even explain (I'm literally looking at the screen thinking of a way to describe how weird that moment sounded to me, but I just can't). It's like, maybe the platonic thing it's better than the actual "gettingtogetherness"... I don't know, they might change my mind. But definitely doesn't feel as right as the Cece-Schmidt to me, they are my favourite couple ever on the show.
This was an amazing episode, I didn't even notice there was no kissing, I mean, the tension between these two is so intense, they kinda kiss with their eyes.
What did Jess meant when she said "Middle school dance rules. Three feet on the floor, no body hugs?" I didn't understood the metaphore, is that some kind of expression? I'm not from US, and I actually have no idea if she meant "Let's stop this now!" or "Let's do this!". I tried to go by their expression or the events that transpired next, but I couldn't. So, if someone could help me, I'd be much obliged. =)
For all those that think Nick and Jess finally getting together will be the cherry on the cake....it won't be. Like I said TOO FAST..........and besides I so much preferred it when the 3 guys looked out for Jess like brothers....changing the recipe is like when Coke tried to become the new Coke and people wailed and they had to bring back the original Classic Coke. I know they are cute together and awkward and all that but this show is a comedy and it gets way too serious when you complicate it with sexual relationships within the main single ensemble.....hey don't hate me fans I love this show............but I am in it for the Schmidt / Winston / Nick = 3 stooges /band of brothers/ hysterical situations.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
