  4. I'm in the middle of watching and am loving the ep! Max in the ascot was hysterical. LOL

First thought...WoFat is like a cock roach. Can't believe he climbed out of the helicopter
Second thought...wonder how long it'll take him to escape this time.

    Really liked this ep.

Still got a few in my queue to watch.

  5. Now you see, THAT'S how you do it! When you want an episode where a news crew follows around the characters, don't make them come up with stupid lines, or pose for the camera, or try to be funny. Castle tried to do this and it made me cringe.

I know I'll probably catch some crap for saying it, but that episode of Castle was one of its worst. H50 made it work and didn't make the characters look like idiots for a cheap laugh. Well...there was one person playing for the camera, but to be honest he wasn't in it enough to be irritating.

They even found a way to include Cat and grill her about her relationship with Steve. She really pulled off being uncomfortable in front of a camera. It can't be easy to fake being nervous while being filmed when your entire career has been about you pretending it's not there in the first place.

Wo Fat got messed up. Seriously, who would actually want to survive wounds like that.

  6. I am torn in this one cause I love H50 but hate these over the top reality shows/follow around shows so hated that side of the episode. Loved H50 story with wo fat, hated the talk show bits and found her annoying.

  13. Totally agree with you. That Castle ep was aweful. H50 really pulled it off. I thought every reaction from the team was totally in character. Maybe except for Max, I have a hard time believing that he was a 'party-animal'.

  14. Thoroughly enjoyed this episode. The format was jarring enough to throw me out of my comfort zone with this show and made me think about the characters a little more. Instead of me feeling like an invisible member of the team this week, I had to look at them and their actions from the outside. It's a good think to have to do once in awhile.

Seems a strange way to bring about the recapture of Wo Fat, but really kind of cool, when you think about it. Wo Fat has been the master at blending into the background and being virtually invisible. If it wasn't for Savannah Walker's desire to get the details about the murder scene by physically grabbing hold of the cop walking away (who just happened to be Wo Fat), would McGarrett and team have even realized Wo Fat was involved? Although the mockumentary was awkward and jarring, it did it's part to advance the Wo Fat/Steve storyline along in a convincing way! Wo Fat was the victim of opportunistic journalism!
