However, I must say I was surprised that she decided to renew her vows with Peter, and even more surprised that her brother encouraged her to do it.
Am I the only one who thought that Peter was shamelessly trying to use her to save his campaign?? He didn't tell her about the voting numbers, and that he needed her support, but it looked like his motives were political, rather than romantic. He used her brother to influence her opinion, and she didn't seem to have a problem with it: why?? O.o
As I recall, Peter wanted to have dinner with Alicia before he knew his vote was down. This was just a husband wanting his wife back, that's all. And he just used the polls as an excuse to get to talk to Owen. Owen would never say he thinks Peter changed so that Alicia would give her speech and help Peter win... Maybe he's starting to see that he has changed, after all.
Good episode as always, i thought the focus on labour strikes was very interesting. I am not liking where this is going with the new firm, it is looking more and more that they will also take away kalinda now.. Anyway, I am sure we will have plenty of excitement next season with it! Also,I want Alicia with Will!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Great episode, as always!
