Certainly not the greatest episode of all time, but I enjoyed it for what it was. I think it finally got back to its original premise - a group of misfit kids (well, maybe not as much as the original cast) who banded together with a common dream, who found friendship along the way. When you strip it down, even if you aren't crazy about the new high school kids (like me), that's what the show was at its most basic.
And hooray for Rachel - I don't know how realistic it would be for her to actually get the part, but she rocked that audition. And Kurt's stress baking/eating was adorable.
What was the best in this episode "Dont stop believing" and the Original cast, damn "Outcast" ? really? im getting frustatred with Marley she is not Rachel, and she is so damn sweet that i maybe get diabetes, i dont like her, i dont like little Puckerman, i dont like Kitty....and where the hell is Sugar?
As much as the show started out about high school students and the glee club, i'm kind of over the high school storylines. I want the show to focus more on the original cast that has graduated (plus Blaine) and somehow make them all interact with each other more
Writers FINALLY have a wait out of the high school story lines, which became predictable and boring, and they should take it. The audience that still follows the show does so because of the original cast and even if they have some talented new faces, there's no denying the original cast is better. As annoying as Rachel can be, Lea Michelle sings as no one else in this show, Kurt is a VERY interesting character, Santana is great, Mercedez has one of the best voices and so on. IMO, they should admit the show won't work without these people and simply focus on them.
Finally!! It's like the writers are trying to find Character 2.0 for each and it's lame. Just focus on the original cast. There's something about Marley that's irritating me. I just really don't like her.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteGreat episode, the song "You Have Friends Than You Know" was very good. I'm glad Rachel win the role.
