  1. Yeah that surprised me. Probably for flashbacks with Ingram. This is going to be awesome! Can't wait. Oh and I guess my app was wrong. It had an unnamed episode airing after this one but apparently that was wrong.

  2. Hmm... familiar nefarious entity trying to take down The Machine? Well I guess those of us who thought that Root would be Team Machine's surprising ally can rule her out since she's the only familiar nefarious entity that I can think of based on the guest cast that would attempt to do something like that. But then again, based once again on this guest cast, I have no idea who the surprising ally(ies) could be. Maybe Elias since he had a nice rapport with Reese in prison and was grateful to him for saving his life? Maybe? Maybe Shaw is the other one?

I'm betting Root is the surprising ally. She wants to protect The Machine and the new organization wants to kill it.

  8. I was thinking that at first as well. But then I read the key words here which are "familiar nefarious entity", and that leads me to believe that Root is actually once again up to no good. Maybe they mean that this familiar nefarious entity is familiar to us the audience, and the surprising ally could still be Root. But if it's a literal meaning for the show, and by familiar they are referring to the main protagonists, then I would say the villain is once again her.

  9. I dunno. I have this bad feeling Root is going to get a hold of her...

  10. It's amazing how tremendous this show is, they set up such an intriguing premise and introduced so many secondary characters. Like a web really and then when it all comes together... it's going to be amazing!

  11. I think she has to be. It would make perfect sense. In the premiere, she said that she wants to set The Machine free. That's kind of hard to do, no wait...impossible to do if it's offline and not working. Now, if they manage to fix it and get it working properly again before the end of the finale, then things could be different.
