Awwww, how domestic. Lovely sneak peek! Great seeing them managing to talk like two civilized people instead of fighting and yelling and throwing things at each other. :)
It's not just you however I did like Neal's handling of Henry, and it was kinda cute and domestic. As a pairing I wouldn't know tho, I'd say too much exposed nerves all over...
plus he doesn't know his fiancee is an evil scheming killer, but hey...
Lately I only see people complaining. Now it's the way Michael Raymond-James speaks. Please. It's his natural and original voice, he always talks like that.
And I see chemistry between the two. Dont care if some of you dont see that. In fact this scene is tamer, and has no intention of being hot or romantic. But intend to create bonds between two people who have a son. At least Neal do not talk crap like Hook makes to Emma or Snow ( in front of Charming) elucidating his private parts
I love MRJ, but for not native english speakers it is a little bit hard to understand him when he is mumbling. I am not complaining, I love him, but sometimes I need to hear it twice to get what he just said.
If I have my speakers loud enough I can understand him, but sometimes it is hard. Or maybe it is because I am focused on his handsome face? :D Probably :D
Michael & Robert are the best male actors in the show by far. And Emma/Neal have lots of chemistry. I think people don't like him because he isn't a male model like most of the male characters in the cast.
Yes,they are.I just don't find Emma & Neal very interesting. They don't play off of each other very well,or like i previously said they lack chemistry.
I don't care that Michael doesn't look like a male model.its not a persons look that interests me (tho really,it doesn't hurt to be cute or good looking, lets be real here! :)) I am not watching Once for the men, just a good story with good characters.
In my opinion I think Neal and Emma have great chemistry.
Neal does not need to be on fire or Emma thrilled because this scene
There is a child sleeping on the couch near them. (their son Henry).
Furthermore, OUAT is a family show, and this scene is a synonym of this. FAMILY.
What did you want? What Neal grabbed Emma and compress her against the wall and kissing her madly, and insisting that Emma for touch his private parts of it? Neal is not Hook. Moreover Neal is a respectful man. Neal & Emma still have many things to solve and overcome each other. And Neal is engaged to Evil Tamara.
Jen Morrison and Michael R-James showed talent (surpassing certain performances/Characters of some cheap soap operas), a scene that required maturity in a relationship that still haunted by the past and present problems.
Tamara also realized that Neal still falls for Emma. And Rumpel also realized that Emma is still in love with his son Bae.
What I see in this scene, do not need to show the chemical between Neal / Emma. I found the scene super cute. They have a son and are trying to make Henry happy and educate him as best they can. In the midst of problems (their troubled relationship) , tension, war and family.
Maybe you can understand it this way...They, Emma and Neal do not compliment each other when they act...It has NOTHING to do with romance/romantic or having sexual feelings for each other.
He had his charm but I don't ship him with Emma because of what he did to her. She was a 19 year old desperate for love and a home and he sent her to jail for his crime because he didn't want to deal with his father. He hurt her in order to protect himself; there's no coming back from that.
I totally agree. MRJ is great and one of the best additions this season. And English is not my native language too and I understand him perfectly. I'm more one to agree that Neal and Emma have chemistry. And if they were creating a scene hot in that kitchen with Henry sleeping on the couch, it would be bizarre....lol
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteAww,haha love the Reboot!
ReplyDeleteMaybe its just me but i just don't see any chemistry between Emma and Neal, even their acting is hard to swallow.
Is it too much to hope that scene ended with a kiss?!??
ReplyDeleteLOVE this sneak peek! This is what the season has been needing, just sitting down and talking about how crazy everything has been.
ReplyDeleteIt's not just you however I did like Neal's handling of Henry, and it was kinda cute and domestic. As a pairing I wouldn't know tho, I'd say too much exposed nerves all over...

I wish the Neal actor would stop mumbling and swallowing some of his words. I find him really hard to understand sometimes.
ReplyDeleteOh good I am not the only one!
ReplyDeleteLately I only see people complaining. Now it's the way Michael Raymond-James speaks. Please. It's his natural and original voice, he always talks like that.

ReplyDeleteI'm not attacking him, I'm only saying that sometimes I have difficulties understanding him because he mumbles. Why is this a big deal?
ReplyDeleteIf I have my speakers loud enough I can understand him, but sometimes it is hard. Or maybe it is because I am focused on his handsome face? :D Probably :D
ReplyDeleteThat might just be the case!
ReplyDeleteYou are not only one to notice that. They look like good friends for me then lovers.
ReplyDeleteMe too...I understand him perfectly and english is not my first language!
ReplyDeleteAgree with you Laura! :)

ReplyDeletewell ...like you answered someone here You have a right to your opinion just like i have a right to mine. So I see chemistry between Neal and Emma!
ReplyDeleteLove that scene! Cant wait!
your opinion of course. I love these two! Michael Raymond James was one of the best actors additions this season.
ReplyDeleteYep,you sure do!
ReplyDeleteYep,just expressing my opinion, just like you!
ReplyDeleteNeal has an easy way Henry, but then again he isn't living or raising him (yet) so its hard to say. I would like to think he will be a good dad.
ReplyDeleteI don't even see them as good friends, still to early, but i hope they will be.
