Mike questions if Harvey loves the law!?!? I'm sorry is that a prerequisite...like say a law degree? Mike has no moral standing and he is not a good lawyer yet. He better find a ladder to get off that high horse or he might hurt himself.
I believe you're off base here. Pondering that question has nothing to do with morality or moral standing. Wondering why someone does what they do is about motivation and personality type.
I could be.:) IMO Mike tends to think of the way he thinks things "should" be (which I'm calling morality, the rights and wrongs of life). In this case he *may* be thinking that you should be a lawyer because you love the law, you respect the law the spirit of the law and justice and that is what you are upholding for the greater good. Like you should be a doctor because you want to save people, not because you like to make money and you have good fine motor skills. And having the "wrong" motivation is in fact morally wrong for Mike because it means you will make decisions that he doesn't agree with (like saving your client money in a lawsuit). He been attacking Harvey for "not caring" since the beginning. But that's just how I read the spoiler.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteSorry about that. Fixed.
ReplyDeleteSilly Zap2it, that "spoiler" is for 9.22 of Grey's Anatomy, not the season finale.
