    Not happy about this, are they trying to say Barney doesn't want to marry Robin or are they saying that Barney isn't happy just being with Robin only?

    I don't get why people get so upset with Barney having trouble letting go of something that was for a very long time routine for him. The engagement has been what, only several months/a half year tops? You can't expect him to change who he is overnight, even considering that he already made great strides towards being a better human being.


    It's like people expected: he is engaged to Robin, so now he'll never ever look at another woman again. That isn't realistic. I have to commend the creators on actually showing Barney changing at a realistic pace. Slowly but surely he is getting there, but there are bound to be a few relapses.

    Completely agree, I think they're "progressing" his lifestyle change at a fair pace.
