  1. Okay seriously, what is this? First they report that The Vampire Diaries 4x22 ep is titled The Walking Dead and now this?

Sorry, I love The Walking Dead, but I think it's kind of lame to name your episodes after a show that's still airing and more or less in the same genre

  2. It is a story line about zombies or zombie like wesen, which I'm sure was written and shot before any knowledge of The Vampire Diaries 4x22 episode. Seems pretty logical to me that they call it "The Waking Dead". Besides, TVD is calling their episode "The Walking Dead". Waking and walking are two different words.

  3. According to this site, the season finales of both Arrow and Supernatural will be called "The Sacrifice" and will air on the same night and same network. Bizarre if the reports are right but i doubt any show consults others when titling their episodes. At least Grimm and TVD are not called the exact same thing.

  4. I didn't mean they copied each other. I just meant that both titles were either similar or dead-on the same with The Walking Dead. Just a bit weird. I'm aware waking and walking are two different words :D

And it's not like they weren't aware of TWD. Just feels lazy to name the episode The Waking Dead. Could've just named it Dead Are Waking or whatever and boom, distincion.

  5. I doubt very much that they even KNEW that TVD was going to name their episode The Walking Dead. Just because the titles came out around the same time, doesn't mean that Grimm hadn't already named the episode while they filmed it months ago. It is also extremely doubtful that the writers looked round the Web to steal episode titles.

  6. It's just an episode title and titles aren't really important. They generally fall into two categories: interesting and not interesting. Your average TV viewer isn't even aware of them most of the time. It's hardly something to get worked up over.

  7. Haha. Totally misunderstood your original post, which made me misunderstand what you were getting at when you responded back to me, therefore causing me to speak nonsense. I blame it completely on my being up since 3 this morning and only getting two hours of sleep. =-O

  8. No worries. A simple miscommunication :D
I know a lot fo shows name their eps after other shows etc, (e.g. Supernatural had an ep Two and a Half Men). Just wanted to point out how the news for both shows' ep titles came around the same time. It just felt a bit weird, is all. :)

  11. ;P We have Supernatural and Arrow sharing the same title too. Except them is on the same network, same night, both for their finale
