A natural disaster is heading straight for Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital on ABC's Grey's Anatomy.
After several cryptic tweets from showrunner Shonda Rhimes, sources close to the ABC medical drama tell The Hollywood Reporter that the season nine finale will feature a superstorm.
The natural disaster will begin in the penultimate episode of the season -- titled "Readiness Is All" -- set for May 9, with the storm hitting full force in the May 16 finale, fittingly titled "Perfect Storm." The superstorm will affect the recently renamed hospital and cause its staff to go into crisis mode in an hour that is being described as very intense with a lot of "major" things changing for the characters in the final two episodes of the season.

Ooh, I'm excited.
ReplyDeleteGrey's is like "Final Destination" in episodes.
ReplyDeleteMeredith is so giving birth in broken down elevator.
ReplyDeleteFinally.
ReplyDeleteLOL, I know it's cliche, but I really hope that does happen.
ReplyDeleteAnd Cristina will deliver the baby.
ReplyDeleteI know everyone (including me) said that another 'disaster' would be already boring but... I'm so excited for this one, Perfect Storm is like a perfect title.
ReplyDeleteMore proof Shonda is out of ideas and basically the worst writer ever. I assume season 10 will have an earthquake or fire...she's still missing those two.
ReplyDeleteI want that to happen so much! If it doesn't its such a wasted opportunity haha.
ReplyDeleteI like that idea but with Alex delivering the baby!
ReplyDeleteI think Alex will be busy with Jo.
ReplyDeleteAt least a natural disaster is believable. And GA's disaster episodes are always amazing.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget serial killer, we have had the gun man but the serial killer coming after the doctors spanning the whole season would be something Shonda would do.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah.. well put her in the elevator, too! Then she can be wooed by Alex's skills/strength/friendship with Mer/ect!
ReplyDeleteI'm all for that!
