    Seriously???? I can't believe it!!!! Actually i knew it, because this is shonda!!!! but i can't believe it, i can't see i happy ending for meredith and derek, and that is sad after all these years and what they have been through all these seasons....

    I'm not surprised. I was actually hoping she would be positive as it would follow the theme/tone of the show. It would be a good way to end the show in my opinion.

    It doesn't necessarily mean that she's going to get Alzheimer's, hopefully she doesn't get it.

    I think Meredith will get Alzheimer's. I always thought the show will end with Meredith getting Alzhiemer's and it will be revealed that Meredith's daughter was reading her mother's journals the whole time.

    I always thought she would wind up with it too,but i never thought it would end with her daughter reading her journals...Good way to end it Babar,good thinking!

    Thanks. Meredith narrating the theme of the episode made me feel like someone was reading each episode. And when Meredith started reading her mother's journals, it just came to be that Meredith's Future daughter (since she MerDer hadn't adopted Zola back then) could also be reading her mother's journal.

    I can't imagine the show ending on a sad note... I will break down if Mer happens to have Alzeihmer's :'( I want an happy ending, after all they've been through, is it too much to ask ?

    Although I’d love a happy ending for Meredith, I hope that after that
    scene there’s not “but… you won’t have alzheimers”, because I think that
    would destroy some of the essence of the show. I want the possibility
    of Mer getting alzheimers open… feeling like a horrible person right
    now.

    I really really want a happy ending! I know this is just a show but I will be truly sad, if the show ends with Meredith getting Alzheimer. This can not be a good way to end the show.
