ReplyDeleteBy the looks of the trailer, the Doctor's frustration over who/what Clara is will out here which I'm looking forward too. Really loving these two as a partnership and I think this will be an interesting one for that.

ReplyDeleteParts of the episode feel like a two parter between The Doctor and Clara, I really like how the new companion has changed the dynamic, it's great to see :D

ReplyDeleteObviously you don't have massive shipper goggles for these two but I did think Hide had a rather large dose of subtext in the writing. Makes me wonder how Moffat intends to play this. I think he certainly approves of having subtext at least.

ReplyDeleteClara? (Probably not...:/ but she could have read it in the book about the history of the Time War...I read some theories in which his name was related to the Time War. Though Clara learning his name? Before River? That would be weird..)

ReplyDeleteOkay I know these two have a rather sweet and lovely friendship developing but can you fix a broken TARDIS with the power of 'awwww'? :D
The holding hands is important, but not for the awww factor, if that makes sense? Lots goes on between the Doctor and Clara in this episode, as well as exploring the TARDIS the all the characters also explore themselves in ways they possible wouldn't do if they weren't in the situation they are in.

Ooo! Sounds excellent. I just like the vibe between these two. They've got a great spark and I think it's a great to delve into the aspects of their relationship more. Having a companion he really cares about and wants to trust but then has suspicions over is an interesting dynamic.
