    Both teasers were awesome. The Dex one was interesting with the smiles intermixed with some of the scowls. But the Deb one was all kinds of intense and sad seeing her go from the happier, more optimistic person in the first couple seasons to where she is now. This season looks like it's going to be intense from start to finish!

    Excellents teasers, original and very well done.

    I love Dexter but I'm so happy the show ends with season 8. After a great seventh season, much better than seasons 5 and 6 and proving the writers still got it, Showtime is letting Dexter go out with a bang with a final season where status quo are two words that should not be mentioned — i.e: remember season 2? Status quo (and letdown) were definitely the key words of the second half of episode 2.12. With season 8, I want to feel like anything can happen from start to finish.


    Now, the writers can go nuts until the very last second of episode 8.12 knowing there won't be no more Dexter after that. That's not a cancellation, that's a proper, much-deserved send-off for a show that has left a mark in today's TV landscape. It's going to be awesome, as long as there's no seasonal killer, it should be all about Deb/Dex, even more so than season 7, and Batista's search for the truth, and Quinn gaining a few pounds, etc. I can't wait to see what happens.

    I always love the feel of "final season" teasers, with a lot of nostalgy and/or build-up to a definitive closure. A few others that I like :
