  1. WHAT?!?!

On Friday?! But I like SPN with Arrow, on Wednesday!!

  2. They are replacing the Oh Sit reruns with SPN reruns. These are not the new airing of these episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Can you please add the word reruns to the title? Oh Sit's regular episodes continue to air on Mondays and SPN's on Wednesdays

I really don't understand why they want to move Supernatural back to Fridays when it's working well on Wednesdays. Are they going to break up Arrow/Supernatural next season?

    ReplyDelete
  5. So, SPN back on Fridays along with Nikita. Liked the Arrow and SPN pairing but I do hope that somehow it'll help Nikita just a little bit.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I'm a little confused. It says May 3rd, 10th and 17th, which are the dates that Supernatural was going to air anyway. I may not be understanding this correctly.

It means that Supernatural is going to be on Fridays replacing the Oh Sit repeats after Nikita.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Maybe they are just airing SPN repeats. It's the only thing that would make sense! There's no way they would pull SPN from Wednesdays at this point in the season when it's a top performer, right?

  9. Eidnoreid Pills29 April 2013 at 19:39

Thanks, that makes more sense now.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Wait, is it SPN repeats or new episodes? Now I'm scared and worried!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I'm sorry, I was looking at April's calendar, not May!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Why doesn't it say they're reruns?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Apparently it's just SPN repeats. :)

    ReplyDelete
  14. Why would The CW change the schedule of Supernatural so late in the season? Seems a little bit stupid to me.

Thanks, the article makes it confusing since it leaves out the word repeats.

    ReplyDelete
  17. oh no! That's the weekend of Asylum con in the UK, so most of us will miss out on seeing the finale before the panels on Saturday... :-(

    ReplyDelete
  18. I know...I almost had a heart attack when I read it!!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Thought that. Hope it still helps Nikita anyways!

    ReplyDelete
  20. These are RERUNS! Calm down! Somebody should change the title! Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  21. Me too! It's got to be better than repeats of Oh Sit! and original Cult episodes when it was on. SPN gets .4 repeats on Wednesdays even a .5 for its last repeat so hopefully it does decent for Friday repeats as well. I was wondering why The CW wasn't trying out SPN or Arrow repeats on Fridays.

    ReplyDelete
  22. More Supernatural?? I APPROVE!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Okay never mind they are repeats. Had me scared for a second there.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yea I think there only reruns guys it too close to the end now to switch things around.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Just found out from a friend that its reruns from the season so its still airing on wednesdays like normal. The worded it wrong supposably.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Wow. I was upset at first because I thought they had moved SPN back to Fridays. They need to make it more clear.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Clear sihn SPN is moving to Monday next season and will be paired with a new show.

Supernatural usually does better than half the shows on the network, it also syndicates pretty well on cable too.

    ReplyDelete
  29. This one clarifies everything better http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2013/04/29/the-cw-schedules-supernatural-repeats-friday-at-8pm-replacing-oh-sit-encores/180098/

  30. reruns I love spn reruns sorry for the folks who actually watched oh sit

    ReplyDelete
  31. Nah, in preparation for sweeps. I'd guess SPN is on Tuesdays or Wednesdays next year depending on if they think Arrow can launch a pilot show or not.

    ReplyDelete
  32. so let me get this right the will be airing new eps of SPN on wed but then the same ep will be repeated on friday so I can see the same ep 2 times in a week I am down with that. but CW should not move the show back on fridays they tryed that to kill the show and it did not work not a damn thing can kill this show NOTHING! so thats great I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  33. No not just you, my first thought was WHAT THE HELL???

    ReplyDelete
  34. I this this is because recent SPN reruns have done better than Arrow and TVD reruns.
I would hope to "Chuck" that The CW has no plans to move SPN back to Fridays at least until the "Final Season" and that's assuming The CW produces at least several
Arrow/SPN demo level "hits" in the next 2 years. The CW has high hopes for The Originals but I think they need at least 2-4 other new hits to replace SPN, Nikita (assuming it gets renewed) and mid - level performer like HoD that is the only other show (besides TVD of course) that can get a possible S4 by the time the affiliate contracts come up for renewal.

    ReplyDelete
  35. DarkUfo made a rare mistake, that's all. Original Oh Sit! eps will be on Mondays and the final three eps of SPN S8 will air as normal on Wednesdays on then "encore" Fridays in place of the Oh Sit! encores.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I keep tabs of the ratings for my primary forum so soon after the "Finals" for Nikita came out I saw this info on "TV by the numbers" in a more accurate way.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Agreed. I could see Supernatural back to Fridays for its final or if the ratings tumble suddenly. However, I really think that Supernatural will last as long as the CW. You are right. Without 2 hits next season, and by that I mean bigger than VD, I don't think the CW gets renewed contracts in major markets which will effectively cancel it or force ti to turn into something else altogether.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Me too. Gah, theCW way to go to sacare your most loyal audiance half to death.
    So not funny. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  39. I get TV by the numbers and I did not see this, but this DID get my attention. lol

    ReplyDelete
  40. I don't even pretend that I know anything about tv in general. I do know that the "affiliate contracts" are up for renewal sometime in 2016. I don't know how many of the separate contracts have to be renewed (or cancelled) and still allow The CW to continue as a small but bonafide network as compared to "cable stations" where the "Original Programming" requirements aren't as high. I don't know if any "Network" has ever been forced to downgrade to "cable" because they no longer had the funds to operate more than (pulling a number out of nowhere) more than five/six shows at time and even more limited funds to extend the actors contracts (that was one of the top reasons I read that Eureka didn't get an S6). I think the CW/Netflix deal expires in 2015 and Hulu, 2016.
If The CW "has to become something else" will The CW continue as an "Online Station" only, producing "shorter webisodes" rather than 40+ minute episodes? Would Netflix chose to outright "buy" the rights to some shows and continue to support and produce those shows (like they do for their new "original programming", Hemlock Grove for example)?
I don't know, but as long as SPN continues through S10, I'm "good", lol.

I went to the site. It's an encore each week of the May Sweeps episode. Wednesday and Friday

    ReplyDelete
  42. That means 2 episodes of Supernatural each week for at least the next 3 weeks. Yay! Good news to start the day with. Thank you!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yes, IF The CW *has* to fold as a network and IF there's no benefit to stepping down to a "Cable station" I'd love for Netflix to acquire SPN, TVD and Arrow (currently The CW's top shows). The problem with acquiring SPN and TVD (I think) is the actors present contracts will have expired by then and while I can the J's re-upping for at least a short S11 (for record -breaking purposes) I can't guess whether the J's will see a benefit to a Netflix -only deal. Still I'd like it *g*.

  44. Fringe is on Netflix now. Just finished season 1.

    That show is freaking awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'm so glad you are on this journey with Walter and gang, its a wonderful story of family and love.I wish you had watched it sooner, with a few hundred other Fringies,it was an amazing experience, one i will never forget.

I envy you.I would love to see it again for the first time....i just might have to find myself an alternate universe! Enjoy the ride, its just getting started, and yeah it is Freaking AWESOME!!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. It would depend on how much Netflix could afford to pay and if season 9/10 on cliffhanger I would expect. It would most certainly NOT be 22 episodes so I think they would be willing.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Well, let's cross our fingers for decent ending at least. Bill Gorman's knowledgeable source *thinks* many of the affiliates will re-up and if The CW continues as is, I can definitely see Mark P trying the talk the J's (+ MC?) into signing for short season 11 to break the current 10 year record as longest running Scifi/Fantasy US show.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Ha! It's definitely time to go to bed. I read this and was wondering why Lucifer would be talking them into anything. Now Mark Pedowitz I understand.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Sorry Daphne ... I think Mark Pedowitz is as smooth a talker as our "Lucifer" lol

Exactly, there was a reason why it moved out of there in the 1st place.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Eidnoreid Pills3 May 2013 at 18:51

There's no need to move it to Fridays since it does well enough on its' own. It can stay on the weekdays.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Was a big fan of Kirk Acevedo since Oz. Hated to see him go so early. The dynamic between Walter and Peter is great. And Leonard Nimoy looks as though he's held up better than Blair Brown and her Moe Howard hairdo!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Which is exactly what we were saying. No need to move it now because it is doing well on weekdays.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'm pretty sure it is on NetFlix. It keeps getting rec'd to me when I bring up my account on my TV via my PS3.

    ReplyDelete
  55. We are not talking about previous seasons. We are talking about Netflix shooting new episodes for a new season if the CW folds and is no longer available to air Supernatural, similar to what they have done with Arrested Development.

I meant for the final season.
