Chicago Fire Spin-Off Casting News - Scott Eastwood joins the cast

NBC is making Scott Eastwood‘s day, tapping Clint’s actor-son as one of the stars of its proposed Chicago Fire spin-off, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Viewers will get their first look at the offshoot — which will revolve around the Windy City’s police department — in Chicago Fire‘s May 15 Season 1 finale.

Eastwood will play Officer Jim Barnes.

    Doing a spin off of Chicago Fire is so ridiculous. This show doesn't have good enough ratings to warrant that. It makes me question the quality of NBC's drama pilots for next season.
