  3. Eureka from Eureka or Storybrooke from Once Upon a Time.

  4. definitely Eureka, Oregon and Storybrooke, Maine... also I wouldn't mind living in Tree Hill, NC or Bluebell, Alabama too!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Haven, Maine.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I agree those towns would be awesome to live in!

    ReplyDelete
  7. that's not really a fictional town...

    ReplyDelete
  8. Eureka (Eureka), Storybrooke, Maine (OUAT), Tree Hill, NC (OTH), and Bluebell, Alabama (HOD)!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Would hate to live in mystic falls. Unless you're a vampire you're most likely to be killed, eaten or turned into a vampire

    ReplyDelete
  10. Dillon, Texas - FNL

    ReplyDelete
  11. Sunnydale, of course. It's so exciting, with all those vampires and monsters around. And Buffy is there.

  12. Other - New Otherton (LOST)

Awww no Storybrooke? Frankly out of all those towns that's the only one barely bearable and that is post-curse. All the beautiful people, crazy stuff going on and unintentional hilarity makes it perfect place to live, imo.

Otherwise all other choices are kind of unattractive.
    - Everyone in Mystic falls is a sociopath or has IQ lower than 50.
    - Living in Sunnydale while incredibly cool, would get you killed. FAST.
    - Smallville Town most likely glows from all those meteorites, aliens and all that stuff, not to mention overly emotional teenagers with superpowers destroying your lawn every day.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Stars Hollow and Bluebell (most likely not to get me killed)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Jericho...definitely...i mean...that's town spirit...Capeside works too..

    ReplyDelete
  16. Definitely Bluebell... I love that small-town Southern charm. And really, Sunnydale? Mystic Falls? Even Smallville. Not great places to live if you want to keep your life haha

    ReplyDelete
  17. Stars Hollow or Sunnydale...

    ReplyDelete
  18. Chance Harbor too..

    ReplyDelete
  19. Other: Coeur d'Coeurs of Pushing Daisies

    ReplyDelete
  20. I voted for Sunnydale or Mystic Falls. I know, I know, it's crowded with fucking vamps. But it's never boring. And you don't have to worry about getting old or sick, cause as human you most likely won't live long enough.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I would hate to live in Rosewood, you would end up being molested by the cops and your teachers... Mystic Falls you will be eaten.. so probably Sunnydale so Buffy & the gang can protect me.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Not sure why anyone would want to live in Mystic Falls or Sunnydale. People are always getting savagely murdered there. Same thing goes for Smallville because people are always becoming evil mutants there. I'm going with Stars Hollow because very few people die there and everyone is quirky.

    ReplyDelete
  23. That was my first thought too. Wanting to live in Mystic Falls is like asking to be murdered in some horrific manner.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Living in Sunnydale would be a great way to guarantee you will die. At the least be the victim of some horrible curse or monster.

    ReplyDelete
  25. That's a great answer. I wish I had thought about it. Great small town charm but still close enough to a big city. No aliens, vampires, or monsters to kill you. Most importantly, FREE health care. Yeah, I'm changing my vote to Everwood.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I always wanted to live in a place where weird things and those usually happen when you live near a hellmouth, which by the way is the line I always use when someone ask me about the town I live.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Other: Dharmaville/Othersville (LOST)

    Eureka!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. The town of Eureka should be cool to live in too, always suprises !

    ReplyDelete
  30. I was thinking the exact same thing!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Of the choices, Stars Hollow. Bluebell is a close second, but I wouldn't want Lemon for an enemy.

But I agree with the peeps below, Eureka would be awesomesauce.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I have a feeling living in any of the towns of my favorite shows would not be good for my health. I seem to be attracted to genre shows where bad things are always happening to the populace.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I wouldn't mind any of them, as long as they were in a parallel universe...

    ReplyDelete
  34. out of those listed, I've really only watched TVD and Buffy the most, and even both of these towns feature an elevated risk of death - my vote would go to Mystic Falls because despite the copious amounts of mortalities, they seem to have a dance/town festival/formal occasion every week filled filled with a ridiculously good looking populace. Plus, it seems to be the only town where a teenager can own a very expensive house property without any job whatsoever (Elena/Jeremy) or a house and a mansion with a busboy job (Matt)... so the tax situation and pay scales there must be awesome! LOL :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. I've wanted to live in Stars Hollow since I began watching Gilmore Girls on ABC Family. Seems like a fun small town and not seedy like Paris was expecting.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Cicely, Alaska anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Rosewood PA... wow the stand in they use is beautiful. Also Haven, Maine.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Safest place out of the shows I've watch is One Tree Hill. I wouldn't want to live anywhere people get killed all the time in like Mystic Falls.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I would have liked to live in Winterfell, before Theon moved in. Or Twin Peaks, where the most interesting characters live.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Bluebell – Hart of Dixie
    Stars Hollow – Gilmore Girls
Mystic Falls – The Vampire Diaries
    Rosewood – Pretty Little Liars
    Fairview - Desperate Housewives

    Only One?
I Want To Live in All this places.

    ReplyDelete
  41. How much I love each of these series I don't want to life in either of those places.
In Sunnydale and Mystic Falls not unless you have a death wiss.
Blue Bell has to many crazy town events and traditions. Don't get my wrong, I love to watch it, but living is another thing.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Since this is pretend anyway, I'm going to pretend Buffy and I are besties and she's always there to protect me. (Also pretending I have all kinds of physical skills to kick monster butt).

    ReplyDelete
  43. Anyone who would want to live in Mystic Falls or Sunnydale has clearly lost their mind. Their mortality rate is off the charts

    ReplyDelete
  44. yeah i think Tree Hill (One Tree Hill) would be good. That and Bluebell (Hart Of Dixie). From outside the list, Storybrooke (OUAT) and Eureka (Eureka)...

    ReplyDelete
  45. antonio dueñas24 March 2013 at 23:05

Smallville. Also like Rosewood(lots of pretty girls)but it seems too dangerous,as Sunnydale.

    ReplyDelete
  46. antonio dueñas24 March 2013 at 23:06

    Strange Eureka wasn't included.

    ReplyDelete
  47. antonio dueñas24 March 2013 at 23:07

But maybe in Smallville you would get super-powers...

    ReplyDelete
  48. Dillon Texas. Friday night lights

    ReplyDelete
  49. Bluebell - HoD
the orange county - The OC
Beverly Hills - beverly hills 90210
    one tree hill
    new york - friends

    ReplyDelete
  50. The problem is, 9 times out of 10, along with the super powers came raging insanity.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Even though most of the inhabitants are crazy in the non-supernatural sense, I voted Stars Hollow!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Eureka or Haven

    ReplyDelete
  53. Other - Storybrook from OUAT :)

  54. Kapitolina Luminarskaya25 March 2013 at 05:41

    Bon Temps (True Blood)

    ReplyDelete
  55. Or Lex Luthor wanting to exploit you.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Storybrooke

    ReplyDelete
  57. Bwah! Very true. Amazing how I still thought Lex was the most interesting character no matter what he did. Well except for the whole Lana thing. That just showed bad taste.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I would totally want to live in Eureka!!!

    ReplyDelete
  59. And don't forget, being one of Buffy's loved ones doesn't exclude you from death. Anya, Jenny and Joyce can speak to that.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Also, as long as you remember the golden rule: keep indoors when it's dark and don't invite anyone in; you can probably avoid being senselessly killed by a vampire. It won't help you against other things of course, but then Sunnydale does seem stocked with both books and people who can help you find out the right information you need to keep alive, so long as you know where to look. At the very least, you know the magic shop there stocks spellbooks that actually work.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Trust me, I know the golden rules.

    1. Stay inside when it's dark

    2. Keep all doors and windows closed

    3. Never invite anyone in, not even a person you know

    4. Always keep weapons close and ready

Did I forget something? And as for the MagicBox, I would have been their best costumer on spells and barriers for protection. I may hate my life, but I sure as hell don't wanna end as vamp dinner.

Thinking of it now … I said I would like to live there (Sunnydale) cause it's never boring. But wouldn’t it be boring to be locked in the house every night? Then where would be the point in living there?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Tree Hill for me

    ReplyDelete
  63. Tree Hill, it's a calm and beautiful place not like Mystic Falls, unless you want to die or become a vampire

    ReplyDelete
  64. Good cities: Eureka (Eureka), Storybrooke (Once Upon a Time), Othertown (LOST), Haven (Haven)

Not good cities: Banshee (Banshee), Bon Temps (True Blood)

    ReplyDelete
  65. Tree Hill is a nice small town, but unfortunately the fact that everybody knows each other history is a burden here. While Storybrooke might be interesting, unless you're a fairytale character, it might be boring. Stars Hollow is the best town for me. The small-town-comaderie here works really good. I always laugh over the fact that news travel fast there and that everybody knows each other. Also, Stars Hollow is really beautiful while in autumn. I would love to get a cup of coffee by Luke while hearing a funny story, see what Patty has imagined up for theater, watch Taylor get fuzzed up over nothing at the market, get a lovely dinner made by Sookie at the Dragonfly Inn and end my day at some of impromptu crazy party Lorelai has made up at her house while I talk with Rory to hear about her stories at Chilton. Every time the intro gets me a warm, fuzzy feeling.

  66. Yeah, and there's a danger in being known as a recluse, which is probably what would happen if you stayed indoors a lot of the time, never went out to a bar, etc. I mean there was that elderly man in season six, who Dawn and her friend found so easy to think the worse of and take a vampire's word that he was no good over his own, precisely because he was a bit of a recluse. They didn't bother to check up on him, or anything. And while he wasn't exactly right in the head, and Dawn and her friend didn't realise they were hanging out with a bunch of vampires, his recluse status made it fairly easy to forget about him. If you're a bit more outgoing like Buffy and her friends, chances are you're more likely to be rescued, especially if you're part of a tight-knit group.

Hell, going to the Magic Box would probably bring you into contact with people who know what they're talking about, who may even be willing to befriend you and check up on you, if you put a system in place where you ring each other up every so often or whatever.

But let's be honest. After a while you relax and aren't quite so vigilant. And that's when one of your new friends is a demon in disguise and tries to sacrifice you. Such is life in Sunnydale.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Yes! The Halloween party. I loved it. Dawn making out with a vamp, the fight at the cemetery, Buffy and Spike in the cellar, … One of my favorite eps in S6.

When we talk like this I feel like a gazelle. "You're safer in a herd. With a large herd there's less chance a lion might eat you" Doesn't it feel ridiculous?

Being friends with people from the magic box can be a two-edged sword. You don't know what these people are up to. Don't forget that people like Tucker and Glory were shopping there too (I just wonder where Andrew and Jonathan got their props. They were never costumers in the Box).

"After a while you relax and aren't quite so vigilant. And that's when one of your new friends is a demon in disguise and tries to sacrifice you." LOL But true. That is why I said to never invite anyone in, not even a person you know (rule no. 3). Yesterday they were your friends, today they can be bloodthirsty vamps. And that is why rule no. 4 (to never be unarmed) is for.
To survive in Sunnydale it's necessary to be careful and in a herd. And be friends with the slayer. Although we could discuss for ages if it is good or bad to be close to the slayer. Fact is, that she can save you ass, if a demon tries to eat you. She saved her friends dozens of times. But it's also fact, that in most of those cases they were in danger cause they were friends with her.

  68. Aww this makes me happy to know that Hart of Dixie is winning. I would definitely pick Bluebell. I mean, Wade Kinsella. Hello!

I don't watch any of these but I voted for Mystic falls for the humor of it, it might be a sweet place especially at night haha
