PROM NIGHT IN MYSTIC FALLS — After making a decision that infuriates Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies) proposes a life-changing challenge for Rebekah (Claire Holt). Caroline (Caroline Accola) finds that her carefully laid plans for the perfect Senior Prom night are disrupted by Elena (Nina Dobrev), so she turns to an amused Klaus for a solution. Determined to get through to Elena, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) both attend the prom, but the evening begins to spiral out of control despite their efforts. When Elena suddenly lashes out in a way no one could have predicted, Matt (Zach Roerig) turns to Rebekah for help. Finally, Bonnie (Kat Graham) makes a terrifying discovery, and Klaus receives a message that could change everything. J. ReplyDeleteElena better get her switch flipped pretty soon because, even though "no humanity" Elena has some great qualities, I can only take so much of her pissing off her friends week after week, especially Caroline. At least when Stefan's switch was flipped no one had to deal with his sh*t all the time because he was out of town with Klaus for most of it.

At least with Stefan, even at his worst they showed glimpses that the real Stefan was buried somewhere underneath it all like in the 20's when he was affectionate with Rebecca and called Klaus his brother or when Mikeal was gonna kill Damon if Stefan didn't find a way around Klaus's compulsion. Elena's only glimpse of emotion has been petty jealosy when she saw Caroline dancing and laughing with Stefan, to which her reaction was to attack Caroline's mother and damn near stake Caroline.
ReplyDeleteWrong. Elena is incapable of love so where is jealousy coming from? It was her resentment regarding Caroline, not jealousy that Stelena fans would like to believe. Netiher she showed any love for Damon as delena fans will proclaim. The only emotions she is capable of feeling right now are anger and frustration. Both Salvatores need to step back and let Elena deal with her problems on her own. I am loving this Elena. I hope she stays like this for a little while.
