So I had the privilege to preview this weeks episode of “The Americans” and it really is their best episode yet. The series first season already started out strong and continued to get better with each episode. Tonight's episode starts where the previous episode stopped and marks a crossroads as the hunt for the mole takes center stage. 

''Trust Me'' is a good title for the episode, as it delves into what trust really is. And of course for a spy show, the question becomes: who can you really trust? 

There will be no major story spoilers in this article, but I will give you some teasers. So stop reading now if you don't want to know anything more!

  • Nina will take the next step, in more ways than one.
  • Elizabeth will not go down without a fight
  • There will be torturing, both physical and psychological
  • Elizabeth snaps and someone we know will end up almost drowned and almost beaten to death (yes, both happen to the same person)
  • Never trust a stranger
  • Someone will be taken back to mother Russia
The episode delivers a few twists, good ones and one that genuinely surprised me. Hope you enjoyed reading this article and hope you enjoy watching ''The Americans'' at 10 PM EST on FX!
