This is the episode that Eric said would reveal the truth about why the power went out. Hope he delivers!
ReplyDeletei wonder if neville will decide to leave as well? Monroe i think is off the deep end by now
ReplyDeleteThe tower? Did I forget something or is that a location that has yet to be introduced. Sounds awesome though. :)
ReplyDeleteThey might be talking about the tower that Monroe was standing on at the end of the last episode.Remember,he was looking down onto the field as the helicopter was lifting off going after Miles and gang.
ReplyDeleteNo you didn't!, but this might be a little reference to "The Dark Tower"!
ReplyDeleteCould be, but I think the building was an old 'power plant', I'm not sure if it's custom that power plants have towers?
ReplyDeleteBut considering this is 3 episodes out from our hiatus, I'm hoping they're moving away from Philadelphia towards The Georgia Federation at this point (and we're suppose to see Miles', Ben's, and Bass' home town at some point). I
'm curious though what kind of tower it is...radio tower (LOST), water tower (Super 8), or are we talking sky scraper or a historical tower?! I have no doubt though that this is also a wink to Stephen King as "The Stand" references also relate to "The Dark Tower"....
It's hard to say with him. He seems like he has so much pride! It would be cool though to see him turn on Monroe!
ReplyDeleteHe does have a lot of pride. I'm thinking Neville will be a bit more complex then I thought.
ReplyDeleteYep,could be! I hope they do move onward and upwards as one might say! They wasted some unnecessary time during the first half of the season...
ReplyDeleteI stopped reading King after 'It' but it seems i should pick up The Dark Tower,i heard a lot about it...
I was going to reply to your comment, but then I saw Laura already made all the points I wanted to make. So I'm just filling up this comment space now, even though I really appreciate your reply. :)
ReplyDeleteWould be a cool easter egg! But if it literally was the dark tower it would make little sense. :P
ReplyDeleteThe Dark Tower seems like it parallels Revolution in the sense that their both epic fantasies (although Revolution is kind of retro-fantasy/sci-fi) about fated groups of people on a quest together (which LOST also referenced ex: "The Man In Black"). The Dark Tower however comprises of multiple/alternate universes (which is how most other Stephen King works tie-into it in some way). We also have Randell which is a reference to Randall Flagg featured as a major villain in both The Stand and The Dark Tower (and Eyes of the Dragon).
ReplyDeletePersonally I like King's fantasy stuff a bit better than some of the point blank horror stuff, although I'm REALLY keyed-up about "The Shinning" sequel coming out in September, "Dr. Sleep".
I have actually never finished the Dark Tower. I last left off on book 5...My Favorites of King are "The Stand", "The Shinning", "Hearts in Atlantis", "The Talisman", "Under the Dome", "Eyes of the Dragon", and "11/22/63"...(The films "It" scare the heck out me!)
I didn't know they were making a sequel! How many books are there to The Dark Tower?
ReplyDeleteThe Dark Tower has 8 now, as "The Wind in the Keyhole" came out last spring, although it takes place between books 4 and 5!
ReplyDeleteI was VERY surprised when I learned King was writing a Shinning sequel featuring Danny all grown up! I hope it will be good and elaborate on shiners!
Sorry about that :D
ReplyDeleteI'd see Neville wanting to take over, more at his wife's suggestion than his own decision. Someone on the show - might've been Kripke - likened the wife to Lady MacBeth and it's fitting.
ReplyDeleteHah, that's okay. We think a lot alike though :P
