  1. My favorites are the state trooper, dead body rising, and the Artemis and Prometheus motel fight. Basically the first half was a lot stronger than the second half to me.

  2. I don't really have a favourite scene in this episode so I'll go for something middling like Sam and Dean chatting while the dead guy rises.

It would have been easier to give a crop of less favourite scenes but one that I really want to mention for how it disappointed me, is the brothers bringing these strangers back to their new 'super secret ' home which the MOL entrusted to them through their dead gramps.

I knew it when Dean said he was going to take them somewhere safe that it would be there but so hoped it wouldn't be.
I wanted the bunker to remain theirs alone and for once in their lives to have something nice that they could share together, but no.
These writers seem to crush any little hope I have for the brothers to have anything good!

  3. I too am disappointed them boys took them back to their bunker. I want the bunker to remain on the show from now on too. The stories will work just fine with their central base and i love Dean having his own room, lol.

  4. No contest for me, Dean asking Cas to look after his little brother.

  5. I actually tweeted my disappointment when Dean said they would take them someplace safe. It's not a super secret hideout if you tell people. All Crowley has to do now is find Hailey and force their whereabouts from her. Granted Crowley probably does not know about Hailey or the fact that the Winchesters have their own Bat Cave of knowledge, but he's crafty and tends to find things out.

  6. It's great to have someplace for the brothers to feel really comfortable and at home. They deserve a break every once and awhile.

  7. Dean praying to Cas and begging him to look after Sam, of course. Such a great and emotional scene. Jensen did amazing job!

  8. "Sam vomits blood, Dean worries, and there's been no progress on anything
". This is like the most accurate description I've ever heard, hahaha :D

  9. Dean praying to Cas was a beautiful scene

  10. That scene at the very end hit me HARD. Absolute perfection. But I was also thoroughly entertained by Sam antagonizing Artemis while she had them pushed up against the wall... and Dean's face the whole time was so priceless.

  11. Dean's desperate prayer to Castiel was the best scene in the whole episode for me. Get in Dean's shoes for a moment and imagine his feeling of dispair: He fears he might lose his brother again, this time for good, in a painful way that Sam doesn't deserve, when Dean considers he was the one who should've gone through these trials. On top of that, he has no idea of where his good friend Castiel is, and the last time they talked, Castiel told him he feared he would kill himself. Bobby is gone, all their family is gone. Dean and Sam are very alone. Dean sits on his bed and starts praying to Cas, because he has faith at least Cas can hear his voice. To whom else can he talk to about this? Castiel is the only one Dean opens up to like this. Dean is desperate because his little brother is suffering and there is just nothing he can do to help him, other than stay beside him. Dean wishes for Cas to hear him, he wants him to. He needs him to be there; he's placing his trust on him, with Sam's life, that which is most important in Dean's life. He needs Cas to be there for him. Cas used to come to him everytime when Dean prayed, but when Dean turns around, although he really wants Cas to be there, he isn't. He's not answering. And Dean is just so broken in this scene, because he desperately needs to know that him and Sam are not alone, and not just that, he desperately needs to know that Cas is alive; that he didn't take his own life. Dean needs Castiel's company now more than ever; his support, but he doesn't even know where Cas is. Maybe's he's lost the good friend he came to love, and now he's losing his brother, too. But Dean has faith that Cas will come, he always does, because Cas always comes back.... Getting in Dean's shoes, in this scene, you can feel that he feels he is losing everything. :'(
(I'm sorry for this long comment, I'm just very emotional about this scene I guess...)

  12. Definitely Dean's prayer to Castiel, it felt very honest.
I love the way Dean talks to Cas, how he trusts him with Sam's life. His words and his eyes tell us how much he needs his friend, not for his powers, but because he cares about him.
(the first option is brilliant, by the way)

  13. Meh, They could have blind folded them or something. But yeah I agree. Kind of weird they did that.

I voted for Sam getting Artemis alittle annoyed, I cracked up and the look Dean had was great. I really liked that Dean prayed for his brother, it was powerful, and also that Sam spoke to Dean in the impala was emotive.
@Dahne Dahne- I thought that first one on the poll was straightforward :)

  15. Thanks. My original listing was too long for the poll so that was the summation. I thought it was funny and yet on point.

That was funny in a way good job.
