I understand the need for Hiatuses but i hate it when there so frequent like when it's only been back for a few weeks then go on another hiatus i wish there where 3 hiatuses per season something like this
Episodes 1-10 September-Late November/Early December Episodes 11-16 Late January-Early March Episodes 17-22 Mid April-Mid May
I agree it's lost atleast 35% of it's viewership from it's premiere which is dissapointing i guess I can understand why this season while still has it's moments isn't as greatly consistent as season 1 was and Revenge is having the same problem but I guess a part of it has do do with OUAT's decline in viewership lower lead in=lower viewers all around
I understand that. It frustrates me too. But I guess they are trying to accommodate other unexpected programs and events. Yeah, 3 hiatuses should sound right.
my money is on that too. I'm guessing Storybrooke gaining magic might've lit the place up for outsiders (or even other worlds) like a x-mas tree. Which draws in troublemakers. And since Rumpel's to blame, I'm thinking someone's about to pay his price.
Oh my god! Tom Ellis is Robin Hood!!! This is so exciting! I love him! Americans probably haven't heard of him but he's in a hilarious series in the UK called Miranda, you should check it out
I'm really excited to see Robin Hood but at this stage I hope he's an one episode character(for now at least). We have the feud between Snow and Regina,we have the Greg/Tamara thing(whatever it is),some main characters that were absent will return, like Hook and Belle and on top of everything else the final two episodes will somehow introduce us to Neverland.I think that's more than enough without the new character. My guess is that he'll appear in one episode and will be given a chance to return in season 3(if he fits the storyline).
They need hiatuses because during this time they are continuing to film. It's the same on every show considering each episode can take up to a week or two to film. In the hiatuses the actors get a break to be with their families which i think half of you should understand, would you really want to work all the time and never see your family? It also gives them time to get in new actors, film any extra scenes and piece the scenes together to make the episode. Every episode we watch isnt filmed in that order, a lot of the time there is about 6 difference scenes being filmed at once in difference places for different episodes. That's why there are hiatuses so everyone gets a small break and things can be put together.
Robin Hood looks great. But I hate ABC. I understand hiatus are needed but it is mind blowing how they need one now after throwing once and revenge against the awards season wolves and leaving their ratings far below what they used to be... Why not simply save episodes then and air them now straight? ABC is run by morons, I am sure of it
Yeah, Tom Ellis. Brits know him as Gary from Miranda. He's also starred in Doctor Who (Last of the Time Lords, he helped Martha and was killed in the street), Merlin and Eastenders.
They don't really get breaks during television hiatuses. They film straight through, 8-9 days per episode. Breaking for Christmas and then April/May/June
I wonder if Tamara/Greg find the magic beans that were planted (since that's a storyline that was left hanging) and they open up a portal to Neverland that way.
They could have but it takes time to film and edit. I would understand if it was a comedy because those don't take much to produce but like a fantasy show that OUAT is it really needs the break to be able to wrap up filming and go onto postproduction
They actually do film in order. They don't film multiple episodes at the same time because that would cost so much more. They only show I know that shoots multiple eps at a time is Glee because it takes way longer to shoot and go to post production. I get the hiatuses, I've figured it out a long time ago and I wish people would too.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Robin Hood... :)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't really consider that a Lacey promo. It's the Price of Magic/Final Four episodes promo.
ReplyDelete3 weeks???? f*ck.....
ReplyDeleteStill really pissed about what they did tonight, but I'm really excited for this episode! Stupid three week hiatus, though.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for Robin Hood!
ReplyDeleteBut WHY 3 weeks? *pulls hair*
Ugh another Hiatus really ABC?
ReplyDeleteSo yeah, i am guessing Neverland invades storybrooke in the finale. ..
ReplyDeleteABC really sucks at scheduling programs.
ReplyDeleteI still think that ABC really helped with the ratings dropping.. (Besides the crappy storylines from the previous episodes, except the last 4)
Ugh, rage at these hiatuses. But yay Robin Hood! Maid Marian better show up.
ReplyDeleteI think the last four episodes have been pretty good. But the first 9 drove a lot of fans away.
ReplyDeleteWell, without the hiatuses, the season will finish in February which I think you will hate more.

Is that Shayne from the Walking Dead playing Robin Hood!!???
ReplyDeleteOh no, after a another look I realize it's not him... The actor does look familiar though... Anyone know who he is?
ReplyDeleteRobin Hood! Can't wait to see Rumbelle in FTL.
ReplyDeleteTom Ellis!

There's only a special three weeks from now. Next ep is four weeks away.
ReplyDeleteSo, Rumple's using an arrow. On who?
ReplyDeleteOh Robin!

ReplyDeleteEmma: "SB isn't save" oh, oh....were are they going then? To Neverland? Because Neal knows how to go there? Or is Neverland coming to SB?
ReplyDeleteI was excited for the Emma/Regina "bench talk", but that doesn't look friendly at all...Regina is leaving the scene all determined...
they could have made more episode ;)
